First let me say that because Locanda Ca' die Duxi is a room broker experiences vary. In our case we did receive a clean room with a comfortable bed and clean sheets. This is not a hotel. It's a collection of rooms around the central part of Riomaggiore. Ours was up the hill and then up four flights of stone... More

I stayed here towards the end of March 2014 during what appeared to be low season. I did read some not-so-good reviews prior to ringing ahead to book a room and inspected the room prior to taking it - from memory I stayed in room 4. The room was simple but had everything I needed (I didn’t expect the Hilton)... More

Here is a chance to stay in a piece of Cinque Terre history. The building is a maze of rooms and staircases fitted into an old 15th century building. The room we stayed in had lovely wooden beams and was clean and well furnished. Breakfast was fine and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One tip for dinner, come... More

Rooms are clean. But hotel staff is very rude and not at all helpful. Room is not cleaned properly everyday. No ine to carry your luggage to your room. Towels are smelly. They charge you even for maps.

This place was my favorite overnight of our trip all across Europe! It is in the center of Riomaggiore in old buildings beautifully redone. It is squeaky clean inside rooms with exposed stone and beamed ceilings--such an awesome experience!! They provide a complimentary European breakfast and buy-one-get-one cocktail tickets at a local bar. We couldn't believe the value for what... More

I have to preface this review by saying I re-read the reviews prior to coming and was quite anxious, I booked here because accommodation was reasonable and it was difficult to find availability. I guess I can only comment on my experiences. Service:We arrived around 3 pm. We were greeted by our english speaking host, we knew the wifi code,... More

I'm shocked at the negative reviews I'm reading, as we had a lovely stay in our 2 bedroom apartment for one night in November. We had a terrace, modern furniture (rather IKEA-esque), and a great experience with the staff. We arrived without a hotel reservation by car and found that we couldn't park in Riomaggiore without a reservation,so we found... More

Staff not helpful, single beds very uncomfortable, room clean and basic, easy walk from the train station as right in the centre of town. Plenty of narrow stairs a challenge to get a heavy bag up and down by yourself. Breakfast starts at 8am late if you like to get doing early. Breakfast simple but sufficient. I had a balcony... More

Firstly, I would like to say that Cinque Terre is an amazing location and would highly recommend to anyone to visit. Our experience began with attempting to check in at 2pm, we were escorted to our room where we were informed that the previous guest had not yet removed their belongings, and could not be found nor contacted (hotel policy... This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life. My bag went missing from my room, and when I spoke to the manager he was mildly sympathetic. The bag mysteriously reappeared after arguing with him, and the next morning when I requested to be let free from my 2 day prebooked stay, because I felt unsafe, the... More
