This room was great. The AC worked well. The shower was great. The size was decent. IT WAS CLEAN. They sent someone to meet us at the train station when we called and didn't quite know where to go. If we stayed for longer than we did, I would have likely to have rented a suite. There is WIFI if... More

Caribana Guesthouse has more than one place to stay in the town of Riomaggiore, we stayed in the one in the centre of the village close to the bulk of the restaurants and the train station. Sadly this Guesthouse did not have any sea view rooms available other than looking out the window and craning your neck, this was not... More

My husband and I stayed in Manuela studio for 3 nights. Room was clean, has a small kitchenette with fridge, utensils, etc.... The views from the windows were brilliant and worth the price. Our hosts were kind, friendly and spoke English which was nice as our Italian is bad. All of the five towns are wonderful but Riomaggiore is still the... More

We stayed in Giulia for two nights. It was clean, charming, the balcony is stunning and the best panoramic view I have ever had; wonderful place to have dinner and watch the sunset. We met Amy and her husband at the reception, couldn't been more accommodating and friendly with us; they provided train schedule, ferry schedule and a very helpful information... More

Amy was a great host. She gave us tips and suggestions for how to make the most of our stay in 5 Terre. The accommodations were clean and quiet right in centre of the town and close to everything. Riomaggiore is a lovely place so we will definitely be back and will stay at Caribana.

We really enjoyed the time spent in the 5 Terre and our stay at Caribana Guesthouse made it unique. Friendly and helpful staff, gave us information about hike, train, ferry and spoke good english. The room was very spacious, bright and clean with view on the main street. Free wifi at the reception. Great, great stay. Definitely recommended

we stayed for a couple of nights in this guesthouse. We met Amy and her husband at the front desk. They gave us a lot of information on trails, and local transport and helped us carry our luggage in the room. The rooms are located in the heart of the town just a few minutes from the station and the sea.... More

We checked into Caribana Guesthouse for 7 nights. We were taken to a very plain room, which was fine as we were not in Cinque Terre to spend time in the room. However, when we woke up to THOUSANDS of tiny ants in the room we were not too pleased. Management offered to move us several times as they couldn't... More

Their "Levante" rooms are basically Italian for "way up a steep mile-long hill/cliff, which you will have to descend and climb again every time you want so much as a bottle of water, since there are absolutely no amenities within one mile of this room and no refrigerator in the room itself; hope you don't get thirsty in the middle... This is a tiny room up three flights of stairs in an apartment building, over a very noisy train station. Beautiful sea view but that is all. They even charge 3 euros a piece for extra towels. There was a TV that didn't work. No WIFI. And the office is at least 500 meters from where the room are. When... More
