This was a fabulous place to stay, just outside the main town of Riomaggiore. Ample parking, clean, spacious rooms, friendly, helpful staff. The view from our balcony was amazing-right over the water! Sunset wa beautiful from there. Dinner was also excellent. Breakfast was included & was as expected- meats, cheeses, fruit, etc. So very glad we found this place &... More

Stayed here one night while visiting the Cinque Terra. Easy drive into the second town which we heard has more parking available than the first. Hotel seemed pretty empty when we were there in November. Room was clean and was more like a suite with an outer room that had two twin beds. Highpoint was the balcony and the great... More

Excels beyond merely a hotel restaurant. The view (whole glass wall and some covered outside seating) was fantastic of the water. Food was quite good and reasonably priced. The location is somewhat a distance from the town but did not suffer in quality nor was there any "captive audience" high prices. Server was attentive but not intrusive providing a very... More

To find a hotel in Cinqueterre area is not easy. The Due Gemelli is fine, has a big parking lot (which is not obvious in the area). The wiew from the rooms is spectacular. It's quite noisy, you hear other room doors close, people talk etc. Quality of restaurant is good, you have to be patient sometimes. You definitly need... More

This is a delightful place away from the hustle and bustle of the five towns. It's up on top of a mountain in Riomaggiore but far enough from the downtowns that it is peaceful and quiet with gorgeous views. There is a nice kitchen with very good dinners. Breakfast is not included and you must pay extra and is not... More

We chose Due Gemelli based on reviews of those who had cars as we did. Our two nights were very nice. We had dinner as their restaurant one night - the menu offered a nice variety of local cuisine offered at a reasonable price. The drive down to Riomaggiore and Vernazza was exhilarating and the car park at the top... More

We booked our room for one night just to see how we liked it. We were going to go to Florence on day two but loved how relaxing it is here and how helpful and friendly the cousins running the family hotel were that we skipped Florence and stayed three nights and four days. Luca was super helpful and chatted... More

Though it be a short ride or bus adventure to the town of Riomaggiore, this hotel has its own parking (a major premium and savings in Cinque Terre), a killer view hundreds of feet above the ocean blue, and we had a deck as large as our room that provided a night show of the astral activities that were awe-inspiring.... The Due Gemelli hotel is located on the single road leading into Riomaggiore, the first of 5 villages making up Cinque Terre. Needless to say that it can only be reached by car. It is located on the outskirts of Riomaggiore but a local mini bus, which stops in front of the hotel, will take you into the heart of... More

We stayed the first week in September. First, the pluses - the rooms have a ridiculous view. You can literally lay in your bed and look over the mountain and the ocean. The food was also wonderful. The mixed seafood appetizer was so good we ordered it two nights in a row. The staff is friendly. The reason for the... More
