I'd say you get what you pay for, but for 30euros this hostel was a little sub-par. The pros: ~ The 6-bed room that I was in had a small kitchen/fridge/etc, and plenty of room for everybody to walk around in. ~ The bed was pretty comfortable, for what I've experienced at other hostels that I'd been staying at. A... More

The hotel is in fact not located in the Main Street of Riomaggiore as I thought it would be. You have to climb up the stairs which is not really practical especially with big luggage. However the view is awesome. The guy who runs the hotel is the worst receptionist ever. He is cold, does not really help you and... More

This place is a jaded and touristy place that was probably once very beautiful but now has lost its allure drastically. It's beaches are very average ( compared to ours in Australia anyway) and every inch of gravel is fought over. The food is underwhelming and the service culture is exceedingly poor. Our hotel, as with most hotels, is made... More

We had wanted to make this trip for so long They are all different and each so quaint. Fun little shops to wander through and nice cafe's for a snack. We did this by boat and loved it. Wish we had longer but the weather doesn't always allow boats to safely enter all harbors. Would do it again and again

We planned only to pass through Cinque Terre and take in the views and so on. This place offered a great view from the room and a great mix of people to befriend. However, the owner I found was really rude. We were unable to make it the first night due to train delays and he snapped at us and... More

Office is easy to find and looks lovely from the outside, decorated with bicycle-shaped flower baskets filled with beautiful red geraniums and you're even welcomed with a red carpet - but that is where the special treatment stops. The owner is vile - upon entry were were greeted with no 'Hello' only 'You pay now'. When waiting for change you... More

This hostel isn't much of an experience, its simply a transaction. "You give me money, ill give you a bed". That's it. No bells or whistles, just simply a place to lay your head at night. The apartment that i stayed in was actually quite decent. It had a kitchen with a gas stove and oven, sink, and fridge. Theres... More

I recommend this place but keep in mind a few things: -Be aware that rooms are scattered across the village and we randomly got one with the most beautiful view but 10 minutes from the main road, and very steep streets. Suitcases are a no-no. Keep is simple. -Would't recommend shared accommodation. Try to book a room only for you... More

DO NOT TAKE SUITCASES HERE. the location is deceitful. Main office is right outside the tunnel from the train station, but the actual rooms are a hike away and if you have big luggage you're done. Wifi is only available in one of the little cottages so be sure to ask the staff where it is/what the login info is... More
