great location but riomaggiore is so small you cannot have a bad location... you are woken up by church bells outside your old shutter windows and can hear Italian neighbours cooking and chatting from their windows across the alley as they hang their washing out...this is an authentic experience (good thing) lovely simple apartment which is what we wanted BUT... This apartment was a huge disappointment. The shower had mold and wasn't clean. Very little hot water. This was a 4th floor walk-up with no air conditioning, dirty floors, and a couch so dirty you wouldn't want to sit on it. It had a floor fan that was so caked with dust that it didn't even push any air. No... More

My friend and I had a double room (two twin beds) for two nights. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious with a small room for dining and lots of closet space. The bathroom was clean and small. The bath and hand / face towels were thin (not the fluffy kind). One container of liquid soap for hands and body was... More

My partner and I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of town. Isabella had arranged for us to be met and shown to the apartment which is very helpful when you arrive in to a town for the first time. The apartment had everything we needed. It was comfortable, with a clean neat bathroom, and extremely convenient... More

Me and my best friend stayed at this hotel in april 2012. The location is perfect, our room has a large balcony with a wonderful view of the piazza. Isabella is such a wonderful host. Only the stairs are a little bit tiring, but everything was perfect. Thanks again. :) Demet & Nuran

I stayed in a one bedroom room that had a small balcony overlooking a piazza with a view of the sea. It had air conditioning which was welcome to help cut the constant humidity of the local climate. However, the wiring was dated and in need of an upgrade, almost dangerous. If you wanted to use a curling iron or... More

Good morning, thanks for you review! We're happy that you spent a nice holiday in our room with sea view. We will fix the issue you wrote (the wire is already fixed, and it was NOT dangerous, but only unhooked from the wall), thank you for reporting it. Of course Cinque Terre are absolutely not ideal for people with limited... More

WOW, cant believe the previous reviews. We had an awesome experience. We were even abit late than our indicated arrival time & Isabella phoned twice to assist us in getting there. We had the 2 bedroom apartment in the centre of town, great location. A few stairs to climb but that would be in any accommodation. Great little kitchenette, and... More

The location is great. Because you are in the middle if town you do get the noise from the nearby bars and the train but that is to be expected. The room was definitely older and smaller than we expected. Really I think it came down to expectations. We paid the same nightly rate as we had in Rome and... More

Good evening, and thank for writing this review. You're right: we're not in Rome, we're not in Tuscany, we're in Cinque Terre. Cinque Terre are not comfortable, are not "large", are not cities... you slept in an ancient fisherman house and we know that it could seem "strange" and overrated but this is the true spirit of our territory... i... The dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at. I had a pre-payed nonrefundable reservation so I could not cancel my reservation without being charged. First thing it was easy to communicate via email with Isabella. We arrived well after dark and she meet us at the apartment. There are some very steep stairs, but climbing uphill is the way of life in the Cinque Terre so it could have been worst as it was a short climb up the street. Riomaggiore does seem to... More

Good morning, and thanks a lot for sharing your opinion with us. We are happy to see that you enjoyed your stay in Riomaggiore, even if it was in the winter season.
