Our stay at sol levante riomaggiore has sadly come to an end. It has been so special for us. This guesthouse is above the train station with breath taking views of the ocean! If you come from platform 1 at riomiaggiore, go right (just next to the pedestrian tunnel outside of the station) and find the elevator. It will cost... More

My sister and I stayed here for three nights in February. The room was tiny, but we didn't need a lot of room. Don't stay here if you are high maintenance. On the other hand, if you are simply looking for a simple place to stay for a couple nights, this will do fine! It was extremely cheap, had an... More

A friend of mine and I chose this "bed-and-breakfast" because we wanted to have a good view and the room looked quite nice on the internet. We did get a good view but, besides a bed, the view is all we got. The owner was very friendly, but she was also very quick to get our passports and money, and... More

We stayed 3 nights starting February 1. We emailed ahead notifying Elisabeth that we would have a late check in (8-8:30pm), and she said it was no problem. We followed the instructions given in her reply out of the train station, but were still unable to find the apartment. I had to call her to find the place. We were... More

Definitely recommend this cute and modern small "hotel". Raphael is the cutest host you could get, he greeted us and helped us with our luggage up to the long steps to the room. The room and bathroom are very clean and all seems to be brand new. The view of course is the best part. If you are lucky to... More

We had a room with an incredible view, but we paid for the view. We had a extremely difficult time finding the place and actually tourists were more helpful than me calling the owner. When I called her she said to ask people (locals) to show us where "Rafael lives". When I asked locals they suddenly didn't know English, so... More

Riomaggiore is one of the 5 very pretty Cinque Terre towns. This hotel was set up a steep slope from the station and had many steps up from the gate which were very challenging with cases! The room was clean and light but very basic e.g. not one chair and very little space. We were charged more for our second... More

We were visiting family in the Veneto region and decided to see a Cinque Terre for 3 days. We just wanted a simple place to stay, at a good location. This is just part of someone's home, and I believe part of one floor was converted into 3 rooms, with a breakfast at a local caffe. We found it a... More

The hotel is actually not a hotel, more like a bed and breakfast. We arrived late at night (there was a thunderstorm and a train strike that weekend). The owner spent the first few minutes yelling at us for not calling or emailing her ahead of time that we were running late... so our first impression was not a pleasant... More

The room is quite spacious by European standards and was recently renovated with all modern amenities such as a new and quiet air conditioner. The location is nice and quiet away from the town centre and near the train station. Be warned that Riomaggiore is on a very steep hill so dragging luggage up to this hotel could be challenging...
