Remember to book a room with a balcony with a view, or don't bother to stay here. We stared right into a brick wall when we opened the balcony doors :( The hotel info says AC, but they only have a fan in the ceiling. Really hot and poor room! Small and steep streets, and some hassel to find the... More

Hotel Villa Argentina is located high above the main city centre which is good if you want to get away from the crowds. The breakfast was good, the bedroom clean but the bathroom was small. The ceiling fan wasn't quite enough to beat the heat - however it was the hottest July for nearly 70 years when we stayed. We... More

Very nice hotel with a great location if you are travelling to Cinque Terre by car. Riomaggiore is a very good base to explore the rest of Cinque Terre and this hotel is at the top of the hill in this town with great views of the ocean and the town itself. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the... More

This is a wonderful little hotel at the top of Romaggiore. A bit of a climb up the hill but absolutely worth it for the most wonderful views, the clean rooms and the best breakfast we have had in Italy. 5 stars for the fabulous home made jam.

We booked apartment for 6 people through Villa Argentina and were really happy with everything. We arrived at the hotel and were shown where to park the cars - 18 euros per car, per night (not per day) which is very reasonable for such a central location in Riomaggiore! The lovely lady then gave us all the information we needed... More

I loved everything about this place. The staff were friendly with "Buon Giorno" and smiles every morning. The breakfast was included - I dipped in to the home made jams (orange, fig and others) and commented to the lady at the front how delicious they were. Next thing I know she gives me a little jar of orange jam with... More

Both the owner and the staff are so nice and kind, it was a very big pleasure to know them. Hotel is pretty and clean, in a very good position to visit Riomaggiore and all the "Cinque Terre", having a very near station to catch the train and to move to all the others "Terre". Breakfast is good. Villa Argentina... More

Stayed here with a tour group and was pleasantly surprised! We had an amazing deck with chairs to sit and sip on a bottle of wine while we looked at the view. The service was super in the morning - a wonderful spread of goodies and personal service for cafe'. I slept wonderfully! Be prepared to hike up, and up,... More

We were assigned their 2 bed room apartment because there were no rooms left in the actual hotel building. The apartment was a fairly long walk down a very steep hill which meant you had to hike the hill for breakfast every morning. It was also towards the top of the Main Street in town and the car traffic in... More

Stayed there for three nights. Felt like at home. Giovanna, the manager makes you feel so much at ease. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was refurbished recently. Breakfast is just great! Do not miss homemade marmelades and jams. They kill! Only little problem was hectic Internet connection. This should be fixed soon, according to Giovanna. Otherwise, if you feel... More
