This hotel is in a great location at the top of the main 'hill' in town. It gives a great view of the town and the water as you are looking from above (and a nice uphill walk after you have had a leisurely dinner by the water). The rooms were clean, free wifi, the breakfast was amazing with delicious,... More

i went here early summer of 2014 the location isn't too far from the train station of riomaggiore but for those who are carrying heavy luggage, beware, it is a steep road to reach the hotel but then once you have reached the hotel, a promising view will await you :D i rented the villa which way a few steps... We arrived for a short getaway from the chaos of the major tourists sites. The rooms and bathrooms are small, but perfect for a short stay. Whilst the views are simply stunning; the hike up the hill with luggage was horrendous ( use the bus...about €2). The staff at the hotel were very friendly and offered advice about trains and... I have read plenty of reviews regarding this property and am not impressed with the state of the room. The door fittings are loose, cobwebs can be seen on the walls, floor was not cleaned properly, shower head holder was broken/ loose and the hot water takes forever. The ceiling fan in the room emits sounds of a freight train... More

We had a wonderful week in the most beautiful location. The hotel was perfectly located with views over the picturesque Old Town. The staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly offering superb service. The Victoria Cocktail Bar was the best place to begin the evening on the terrace overlooking the sea. Our room was so clean and perfect for a week's... More

There were 3 of us in the room, which was small. The decor is dated, and the bathroom is tiny. The room also didn't feel very clean. The breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. It is a HIKE to get up to the hotel (up the hills and then up the stairs to your room). Great view on... More

Riomaggiore does not have many hotels, so this hotel is fine for a short stay. Room was small and very dated but balcony off room provides a great ocean view. Staff were helpful and breakfast is good.

Stayed in the Apartment for four, which had amazing views. We had our own private terrace, and the rooms were large and very clean. The staff was very welcoming. The hike up the hill is well worth it.....Would definately stay here again.

Family trip to hike the Cinque Terra. Riomaggiore is a quiet town but has everything you need. The hotel has a beautiful terrace overlooking the entire town and the sea. We spent nearly every evening on the terrace with a a bottle of wine watching the sunset. One tip- there is a bus that will take you up the hill... More

You just have to let the tap run for about five minutes before it comes though! The room was average but the view amazing. Be warned- the walk up (and back down with your case) is steeper than you could imagine. Only saw the bus once in five days. Breakfast (included) was pretty standard - the fruit was very good....
