Really nice, clean hotel in Riomaggiore. Really nice breakfast, rooms with a balcony, nice ambiance and friendly staff. Note that it is at the top of the big hill in Riomaggiore, which means an amazing view but a steep walk every time you return to the hotel.

Stay for 5 nights. Clean and quiet hotel in one of the less touristy towns of Cinque Terre. Bathroom was small but clean. Nice breakfast. Good Wifi. Some great restaurants in Riomaggiore. Be prepared to hike up and down the hill to get from the town to the hotel!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Villa Argentina for two nights in October 2013. Cinque Terre was one of the stops on our two week trip to Italy. We did a lot of research on the area to decide on the best town to stay in. We were deciding between Riomaggiore and Monterosso and had friends that had previously... More

Room basic but clean and good wifi. Exceptional views from balcony. Fair breakfast but had to pay for proper coffee. Location is right at the top of town! All uphill and quite a hike so be prepared. Went in off season so a lot of things were closed, had to go down to town centre for any meal. Loved cinque... More

Yes, you do have to hike up the hill to get the view, but it is well worth it. The hotel has a balcony where you can have your wine/cheese etc and just chill and take in the view. If you buy the Cinque Terre Pass riding the bus up/down the hill is free, otherwise I think it is still... More

We stayed for two nights while on a girls trip to Italy. There were four of us so we had the quad room with a double and bunk beds. The room was small and so was the bathroom but the balcony and view were great. Breakfast was nice. Just a warning, when they say to get off the train, walk... More

Room # 1 is the only room in the lobby, and the bathroom was covered in ants. We were moved for the next two nights to the second floor with a balcony that over looked the ocean and was excellent. They over-book and don't let them stick you in room #1. When I complained I was told that we would... More

We rented a 1 bedroom apartment in the middle of Riomaggiore. Good location, we didn't need to hike all they way up the hill which was nice. The room as adequately furnished. The bed was a bit hard but I found that common for a room in this price range on our trip. The other downside was the church bells... More

The view from this hotel is stunning! It sits on top of a mountainside overlooking the Mediterranean sunset away from the hustle and bustle of the train station and tourist dense streets, it is a quiet, clean respite from a the busier parts of your day. The breakfast offered is balanced with fresh fruit, pesto, pastries and quiche most days.... More

Hotel is uphill which means nice view on town and close to bring your luggage if parked free on the road. It is also a few minutes walk down frim the center of the village. Breakkfeast was nice. Room clean but maintanence wad not great. The big issue with the hotel is that some of the rooms are facing a... More
