It's easy to see why La Scogliera has won so many Trip Advisor awards. My husband and I stayed here in September and would definitely stay here again! The room itself was well-appointed (coffee maker, fridge, safe, good air-conditioning, etc.) with a comfortable bed and clean, reasonably-sized bathroom. But lovely as it was, the room paled in comparison to the... More

This is one of the best part of my trip. The patio is right at the cliff and you cannot get better view than this hotel. Go get a bottle of wine and some fried seafood from the town and sit there and enjoy!

My husband and I loved our stay at La Scogliera "the cliff". Great clean room with the best view you could ever ask for in a room. I will say it is good to pack light as there are many ancient stairs to climb to get there. We arrived earlier than check in time but were able to keep our... More

We stayed in the room in Lo Scogliera for 3 nights. The room was a good size, with coffee maker, dishes, silverware, paper towels, cleaning equipment and a small bathroom with shower. From the train station there are two flights of stairs going down to the tunnel (52) stairs in all. These are the proper height and have railings. Once... More

The most picturesque room in a most beautiful part of the world. Don't book anywhere else. The owners are attentive to your needs and so very helpful. The room is spacious and clean and the wifi works exceptionally well. The extra touches include the cannoli and limoncello made from Paulo's own lemons. Try and do the walks they are hard... More

My wife and I enjoyed this wonderful one bedroom clean apartment c/w kitchen, very large balcony overlooking the water, table, umbrella and lounge chairs. I think it's the best view in the marina. Paulo hand made cannoli's were delicious. He also made and brought us lemon cilo. All the brothers came to make sure we are ok and helped us... More

We stayed in the apartment (178) for 5 nights in late June early July, the location is stunning once you find it. Luckily we ran into Roberto (the luggage carrier guy) who will take your luggage to anywhere in Riomaggiore, firstly by car from the carpark and then he will lug it in and out of the maze of stairs... Oh how lucky were we. Paolo has just newly renovated a large terraced apartment. It contains a nice kitchen area and queen size bed and two fold away beds. The terrace is just spectacular and overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. Provided here is a large table with an umbrella and two sunbaking lounges. Not far for a swim too. A lovely... More

An amazing room/apartment in a stunning location. If you are coming to the Cinque Terre you couldn't go wrong with staying in Riomaggiore. Having been to all 5 towns I think this one has the best 'mix'. There is a nice 'pebble' beach next to the town which you can swim at, I think this is better than the over... More

You know you are in a special place when you can pick out your apartment windows in every tourist photo of the town. This room is probably the closest to the water in all of Riomaggiore, so you get to sleep with the sound of waves crashing (don't worry, if it gets too loud, you can close the windows, and... More
