5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013 NEW

If you like fresh, homemade cakes for breakfast, this is the place for you. In fine weather, service is on an airy terrace, with fine views of the sea, 1000' below. Coffee is excellent, and plentiful, accompanied by the smiling faces of your hosts. Spare food may be packed into the poly bag provided. You have access to the impeccably... More

Franca, Andrea & Mattia all work hard to ensure your visit to the Cinque Terre is great. Franca makes yummy homemade pastries and fantastic cappuccino for breakfast. Mattia speaks good english and is very helpful. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms are new and in perfect working condition. The new little restaurant in Volastra, arcobaleno is very good... This B&B is in a smaller town of the Cinque Terre area.(Volastra) It is just above Manarola. There are buses from Manarola to take you here, but if you have a car rental you have parking available at the B&B. Driving here is hair pin turns but so beautiful.(if you are not the driver)haha. It is a steep climb down... More

Wonderful stay. We stayed here for 2 nights in April 2013. We were greeted upon arrival, educated in english on trails, local restaurants and breakfast. We had a wonderful breakfast overlooking the sea then set out to hike some trails. We arrived by train from Pisa then took the bus from Manarola to Volestra. We had to check out early... More

I can only say great things about this place. We arrived and were greeted by Matija who spoke perfect English. He showed us to our rooms and also provided us with loads of information about getting about and the 5 areas of Cinque Terre. With all the information, we headed out the next morning and hiked from NiRia to the... More

We stayed from two nights at NiRia. It was the only place that had availability, and luckily it was very affordable! The room was clean and the people there were very nice. We got lost on our drive in and arrived at midnight... luckily someone was there to let us in when we called. The breakfast was very nice and... More

We were very pleased we made a booking to stay at Niria B&B in Volastra, Cinque Terre. It was such a quiet welcoming place with lovely views as long as the mist didn't hit the sea!! It did when we were there. Both Andre and Franco, his wife, made us lovely breakfasts. We ate takeaway meals for dinner from a... More

We stayed for a few days in mid October 2012. We were interested in seeing the five cities and to do a couple of days of hiking. The first day we hiked down to Manarola. The second day we hiked up and over to Sancturia de Madonna. Both trails were easy to find from Niria. Each day the owners served... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at NiRia in mid-September and we only wish we could have spent more time -- on our next visit we will! The other reviews all capture the specialness of this tiny village and this particular B and B. The family supplies you with all of the information you will need about getting around... More
