Stayed here for a romantic break - first class hospitality from Franca and her husband. Breakfast was massive and set us up for the day. Although a little walk from Volastra town centre the bus was very frequent - we'd recommend getting a carnet.

Would really like to keep this place a secret, but everyone should know that NiRia is an amazing place to stay. (Thank you Franco for being such a great hostess!). Cinque Terre might be one of the beautiful places on earth, but NiRia is the best place to view it. You can hike from there over to Corniglia and then... More

Our first trip to Cinque Terre and we picked the best place to stay. We drove to NiRia which was fun. The view from NiRia is amazing with the mountain and ocean views. Breathtaking!! Our rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast was delicious with all the homemade goods. Franka who was our host was so accommodating and willing to... More

My wife and I are from India and we were on our dream vacation in Europe. Having heard a lot about Cinque terre we wanted to spend two nights - I so wish we had spent a whole week in the 5 terres!! Its been two years and I have been missing this place a lot, so came back to... More

Breakfast was a big positive surprise, because it was not meeting the Italian standards and we could take the rest for lunch (including plastic bags to pack our lunch and enough to keep us walking). Nice, clean and quiet and friendly owners. Level of English is not high. If needed, there is a bus service between Volastra and Manarola, but... More

After an adrenaline charged drive on minor roads hanging off the cliffside (we could have taken the main road from La Specia), Niria at Volastra was a welcome sight. So relaxing, we truly appreciated the quiet nights after walking the amazing scenic steep pathway down to busy Manorola (every day). A private airy spotless room and large bathroom, the bed... More

I selected this place as we were travelling by car and it turned out to be a wonderful place to stay for a couple of evenings. The location is ideal, perched above the village of Manarola and we were treated to fabulous views from the garden area (which as noted is a great place to enjoy breakfast), and the rooms... More

My husband and I spent two days in this lovely bed and breakfast located in the a tiny village of Volastra, at about 2 km from Manarola. The place is not big (I guess there are about 4/5 rooms), but the rooms are absolutely clean and airy, well furnished and with a fairly large bathroom. The bed and breakfast is... More

In this review I would like first of all thank Fausto and Andrea for the fantastic stay we had! Although they didn't speak much English, we perfectly understood each other and they did their best to make us feel at home. Opon arrival we were offered a cup of freshly brewed coffee and got a pile of hand-outs with train... More

Came across this home while hiking halfway on the amazing path from Vernazza to Corniglia (highly recommended hike) and taken aback by its unique location on the cliff wondering how and why it was built here. Though it was closed probably due to off season now, the welcome sign and offer to refill hiker water bottles demonstrated the warmth of... More
