I stayed with Yasmin and "la Nonna" for a week in August 2014 and i just loved it. My little single room was like a small flat and had everything i needed and was all the time kept spotlessly clean. Towels and linen were changed every other day. I had a small kitchenette, perfect for preparing a small breakfast, and... More

We booked Da Silvia after reading the mixed reviews on TA. I have say for the money I am disappointed. Firstly the address in both TA and Booking.com is incorrect. It is 25B on the Main Street and almost at the end of the VERY steep street from the train station. To be fair the owner did text me the... More

The parking outside the city cost EUR 23.00 per day! We stayed only one night but had the good idea to take our full suitcases with us. I highly recommend you to take the minimum necessary only if you plan to stay one or two nights as you will have many stairs and the main street to climb up when... More

Our room was in the lovely town of Riomaggiorre. However, to get to our room, we had to walk up two flights of very steep stairs, and the rooms were very spartan. Very little decor or charm, except it was fun looking out our windows onto the main street. Very noisy from the street crowd at night until about 2... More

Book the single room (25B) here for a good price during peak summer. The room is clean and equip with basic utensil. The room has an A/C which is the most effective A/C I encountered in Italy (very cool). The room is a little bit uphill (seem to be normal here) but not have to go through many the stair.... More

Riomaggiorre - Affittacamere da Silva We had to walk up 4 flights of steep stairs in two different buildings to get to the room. I was disappointed with the view. The room was clean and had only the very basics. There was no telephone to call our friends staying in another room of the same hotel, no shampoo, towels were... More

I didn't realize how far in advance it's necessary to book for Cinque Terre so when I started researching 6 weeks before our stay, I was shocked to find that most of the oceanfront accommodation in Vernazza and Riomaggiore was already booked. I emailed Da Silva and they sent me several options, only one was oceanfront with a balcony which... More

We visited Cinque Terre to go hiking on the trails. We contacted Da Silvia last minute and they were quite responsive to my emails. The apartment was a short 2-3min walk from Riomaggiore station, 20 steps from the main street. Our apartment was on the first floor, with 2 double beds and 1 bedroom. The apartment was equipped with towels... More

We were looking for a little room cwith seas view and we got it. Everything was exactly like on the pictures from the website, except that we discovered that we had to share the terace with the owner who lived in the room next door... He was not there very often so we were able to take advantage of the... More

I had a great room with a view of the ocean 30 metres from the front of Romaggiore. However it is worth noting that most accomodation here is rooms, NOT hotels, so you get a room "somewhere" in town through one of the many agencies. So me saying the room was good and location was great may not be same... More
