We stayed at Hotel La Zorza for three nights. It was very easy to find, right at the bottom of Riomaggiore's main street. It is also a bar/restaurant, so that's where you check in. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Great beds, sheets and bathroom. Everything felt clean and they made up our room each night. The wifi (in... More

My husband and I spent one night here in mid-March, 2015. It was clean and inexpensive. I loved the charm of the old ceiling beams and stone arches in the room. I enjoyed looking out the window at the colorful homes, stores, and restaurants. There were a few flights of stairs to climb to get to our room, so be... More

We were blown away by the horrible customer service at the cafe. The thin brunette woman working was rude from the moment we walked in. The food was horrible, overpriced, cold, poor quality. The coffee was mediocre and cold. The worst part was that the woman assumed we did not speak Italian and spoke of us and other customers in... More

You won't find a better hotel in this excellent position in a lovely village. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside, but don't be fooled. It has excellent rooms with all you need. Nearby are perfectly good restaurants and the station is in easy walking distance. If you have a car, make sure you tell them ahead of time... More

The steps to the upper floor apartments are not for the faint-hearted (tip: you save one flight of steep stairs by coming from the side of the building). We got a room facing the street, so plenty of light there, but the most amazing features were the parts of the old building lovingly restored and incorporated: massive timber beams just... More

My girlfriend and I booked for three nights in a room with a double bed. The bed was two quite light singles pushed together, so that during the night they pushed apart by around 30cm - this sort of defeated the purpose of the double bed, so we talked to the staff. At first they claimed that the photo we... More

Although I can definitely recommend a visit to the 'Cinque Terre' area, I would suggest to stay at 'Monterosso' end of it, there you have a beach where you can swim safely and relax under an umbrella for the time you're there. When you book Hotel make sure you have one available for you. We staid in 'Riomaggiore' at the... More

We stumbled upon this bar in need of wi-fi, which works great by the way. Of course, we sat down and enjoyed some drinks and the atmosphere as well. The bartenders/servers are very friendly and started to recognize us because we visited on multiple occasions. After ordering just drinks, they brought us some finger food to munch on. My favorite... Luca is just amazing...worked us a brilliant deal in minutes. Zorza is splendid. Beautiful top floor apartment...sufficiently reasonable. Very good view. Totally recommended for people who get here...Riomaggiore is a real find. Came only for a couple of days...but stayed longer... Fantastico!!
