We had a lovely time at il BoMa! Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and had lots of helpful advice about the local area. We particularly enjoyed the fresh croissants every morning and would highly recommend this B&B for a relaxing stay in the beautiful Cinque Terra!

5 min to train station, 5 min to marina, 10 min to church and castle, 35 min to sanctuary. Steps to restaurants and shops. The owners are very friendly and helpful, providing lots of info and tips about the Cinque Terre. The rooms are on the third floor and very clean. We stayed in the yellow room, which had a... More

A very clean and basic B&B in Riomaggiore, a few minutes' steep uphill from the train station. Many stairs, so heavy suitcase-bearers beware, but this is probably common throughout the region. Maddy was welcoming and informative and we felt very comfortable. Our room had a very nice private bathroom and we had a quiet, restful sleep. By North American standards,... More

We enjoyed our stay at this B&B. We arrived a bit late because our train was delayed and felt that Maddy was slightly annoyed with us but she was still very helpful in giving us information about the area. We also received a departing gift of homemade limoncello on check out which was a nice and surprising gesture. The room... More

We stayed at the il Boma for 2 nights the middle of October. We drove from Malpensa airport stopping along the way on the coast to enjoy the spectacular view. The weather was a little unsettled, thick fog rolled in and we got a little lost. Luckily we stopped the right person to ask directions, Roberto who runs a luggage... More

The Il BoMa is the best B&B we stayed at in Italy. Riomaggiore is ideal to experience the friendliness, quaintness, and laid back atmosphere of the villages, in our opinion, far nicer than Monterosso. Maddy is an ideal host, extremely accommodating and helpful. We loved the fresh croissants for breakfast each morning, and the gift of limoncello on our departure.... More

This is an excellent B&B located on the main street in Riomaggiore. The rooms are big enough that the self made breakfast at the small breakfast nook in the room works very well. There is also a fridge in the room. The hostess, Madalena is very knowledgeable about the local area and speaks very good English ( she is from... More

We traveled for several weeks around Europe and as a result we had many different accommodations throughout our stay. This was one of our favorite places. The price was great for what we received. The room (Wisteria) was very clean, which I am quite picky about! It is a room right along the main street and has a balcony. With... More

We had such a perfect stay in Riomaggiore and at lovely il Boma. A personal and cute B&B right in the heart of the village. The owner made us feel really welcome, really appreciated it! We would truly recommend Riomaggiore and il Boma when in Cinque Terre!

IlBoMa is a great place to stay. Central location and very affordable. Maddy was very good about keeping in contact and helping us find the place. We stayed in the yellow room. Breaksfast was simple but good. I'm a light sleeper and we never heard anyone else and we slept great. Cute view from the window. Bathroom was separate from... More
