After the luxury of the Florence hotel, it was rather nice to get back to the simple life! I liked this hotel a lot... I knew what to expect from the website, so wasnt expecting luxury. But it is clean, with comfy beds, no bathtubs only showers, and a decent breakfast selection. Staff were correct, not overly friendly, but helpful.... More

This relaxed retreat, high above Monterosso al Mare, is the perfect 3-star hotel for visitors to Cinque Terre. The rooms are of a decent size, with good bathroom amenities. The nights are quiet, the breakfasts good and benefiting from excellent service, and the gardens and grounds are delightful, with views over the Ligurian Sea. There is a complimentary shuttle service... More

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and was great staying up on the hill. We had a free shuttle every hr going to the village and the same going back to the hotel. It only took 5 minutes for the shuttle. The boys were always on time. Brekys were nice. Fruit, yoghurt, cerial, cold cuts.there was no toast... More

We booked our trip to Cinque Terre one day before the departure, so we chose the hotel fastly.. But when we arrived after 2 hours and a half driving from Bologna the view was breathtaking! The little city and the sea far down the mountain were a great welcome to the beginning of our spontanious trip. Our little bed and... More

I hesitated a lot before booking this hotel because of a number of negative reviews mainly on the staff kindness. I decided to choose the hotel anyway on the strength of its wonderful views. Well ... we would definitely return to this hotel. The view from the room is a dream.... just wonderful, makes us feel as we wanted to... More

My dad stayed in Germany for 3 months and he said the first phrase he learned was "das ist verboten" (that is forbidden). I didn't fully appreciate that story until staying at this hotel. Rooms weren't particularly updated or comfortable, signs everywhere telling you what you can't do. Staff weren't very friendly and quick to quote the rules. Beautiful views,... More

If you are looking for a hotel with a view this is it. Compromise to make is the distance to the main street for restaurants and other services. Other then serving breakfast there is only chips and snacks available. We had a room overlooking the back (no view) it was spacious and comfortable. If you can afford it ask for... More

Just got back from a wonderful 6-night stay at the Bellevue. Overall, I was very happy. I did manage to get one of those coveted sea view rooms. The view is spectacular from this hotel's lofty perch above the newer part of Monterosso. My wife and I utilized the shuttle service several times, but we also really enjoyed the short,... More

I was surprised to read so many unfavourable reviews on this property. My husband and I spent 4 days in September and loved it. The bedroom was spacious with french doors onto the balcony with the most amazing view. You definitely want to request a room with a view. The bathroom was the standard size for Italy and sufficient. Grounds... More

This hotel is defiently not value for money, it's way over priced for what you recieve. The receptionists (most of) are rude, helpless and are to busy telling you what not to do in the hotel instead of telling you the positives. When we arrived the lady that checked us in never notified us that they provide beach towels and... More
