Newly refurbished, very clean, nice rooms, friendly staff and a good breakfast. Great spot outside to sit, have a drink and watch the Main Street happenings. A very quiet location, but only 5 minute walk to the beach and ferry, 12 to the station and new town/beach. Plenty of cafe's, restaurant's and shops on the door step. Can recommend the... More

Went here on a first time trip to Italy based on our sons recommendation. This hotel is a short walk up from train station. Centrally located in this small village. Restaurants all around us, bank, ATM,3 doors up, laundry 6 doors up. Just a great location. Nice little balcony for stealing my cigars. Great full satisfying breakfast even for us... More

This is a wonderful hotel, directions were clear and location was perfect. Rooms were clean and spacious and we had a balcony overlooking the lemon trees behind the hotel. The hotel is modern, trendy and clean. Breakfast was continental style but a great selection. Service was excellent and it was a wonderful place to come back to after a long... More

Arriving by train we were skeptical about finding the hotel but the directions on the website directed us right to their door. Bright, clean, modern lobby that was very inviting. The manager checked us in and gave us all the information about the hotel and where we could grab dinner in town. The free breakfast provided many choices and the... More

Loved this place, location is central, very easy to access the beach. Definitely a tourist location. We were very comfortable here, rooms were very clean and accommodating, breakfast was included and was delicious (buffet style). Loved our stay here, we had to leave a day early and there were no cancellation fees which was very surprising. Would go back, would... More

My mom and I recently stayed at the Hotel Margherita in Monterosso, Cinque Terre, Italy. The room (Room #4) was very spacious and had nice amenities. The problem was the room smelled of mold. It appeared that the mold was being covered up with paint. The smell was apparent in the room and in the blankets provided. While the staff... More

This is almost a self service hotel as there is very little assistance from staff and there is often no one on duty in reception area. Room was very small but modern, clean and the bathroom good, although not enough room to store toiletries. Wifi good. Breakfast dreadful - no service at all. There was a nespresso machine for coffee,... More

We chose to stay here for 4 nights based on comments by others. Our room was large enough and well designed. The bath had a small shower with plenty of hot water. Internet/WiFi was free but service was interrupted too frequently for unknown reasons. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was adequate with lots of choices. Coffee of the Nescafe... More

The hotel is tucked away up at the top end of via Roma away from all the hustle and bustle of the main tourist attractions but still close enough to the main hub so as not to feel isolated. The hotel is lovely and quaint, and derives most of its charm from the charming surrounds it finds itself in. The... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful at all hours of the day, the breakfast was phenomenal (especially if you have to be gluten free), the rooms were quaint, the location was excellent! You can always stay at one of the more popular hotels that have the fantastic views of the water but I just don't think it is worth... More
