Arriving by train we were skeptical about finding the hotel but the directions on the website directed us right to their door. Bright, clean, modern lobby that was very inviting. The manager checked us in and gave us all the information about the hotel and where we could grab dinner in town. The free breakfast provided many choices and the... More

Loved this place, location is central, very easy to access the beach. Definitely a tourist location. We were very comfortable here, rooms were very clean and accommodating, breakfast was included and was delicious (buffet style). Loved our stay here, we had to leave a day early and there were no cancellation fees which was very surprising. Would go back, would... More

My mom and I recently stayed at the Hotel Margherita in Monterosso, Cinque Terre, Italy. The room (Room #4) was very spacious and had nice amenities. The problem was the room smelled of mold. It appeared that the mold was being covered up with paint. The smell was apparent in the room and in the blankets provided. While the staff... More

This is almost a self service hotel as there is very little assistance from staff and there is often no one on duty in reception area. Room was very small but modern, clean and the bathroom good, although not enough room to store toiletries. Wifi good. Breakfast dreadful - no service at all. There was a nespresso machine for coffee,... More

We chose to stay here for 4 nights based on comments by others. Our room was large enough and well designed. The bath had a small shower with plenty of hot water. Internet/WiFi was free but service was interrupted too frequently for unknown reasons. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was adequate with lots of choices. Coffee of the Nescafe... More

The hotel is tucked away up at the top end of via Roma away from all the hustle and bustle of the main tourist attractions but still close enough to the main hub so as not to feel isolated. The hotel is lovely and quaint, and derives most of its charm from the charming surrounds it finds itself in. The... More

The staff was very friendly and helpful at all hours of the day, the breakfast was phenomenal (especially if you have to be gluten free), the rooms were quaint, the location was excellent! You can always stay at one of the more popular hotels that have the fantastic views of the water but I just don't think it is worth... More

We arrived from train to our hotel in the afternoon. While the task of walking with luggage to our hotel was not perfect, the stay was much better! Lisa from Beach Bum Vacations booked this room with our thoughts in mind. This hotel was on the main street in Monterosso, which was great. We were able to have great people... More

Please read all the reviews here before booking. I cannot stress enough that there will be noise out side your room during your stay at this hotel. We were blessed with a live band next door during our stay in the evening. We booked a Triple room and received what I would call a double maybe, with a lounge chair... More

Stayed here for 1 night in August 2014. The hotel is located uphill the main road of Monterosso, not perfect if arriving by train but manageable. Friendly and helpful staff throughout. Our room was clean and quiet, yte barely large enough to fit the bed and our bags, so definitely not recommended for a longer stay. Mediocre value for money... More
