My husband and I loved our stay at Manuel's Guest House. Lorenzo and Giovanni are so friendly and they make sure you feel comfortable. There's a patio for you to sit and enjoy a beverage and eat breakfast. The location up on a hill beautiful and makes for picture perfect views. It is a hike up multiple steps to get... More

Manuel's Guest House is the perfect place to stay if you are in The Cinque Terre. It's in the northern most city of the 5 - Monterosso. Like just about anything in the area, you must be up for a climb if you book this. Getting to Manuel's requires 5 or so flights of stairs up the hill and down... More

Our 2 night stay at Manuel's Guesthouse was wonderful. The room was cheery. The view of the town, sea and hills from our private balcony was delightful. Each morning Lorenzo and Giovanni made an incredible breakfast of cappuccino, fruit smooties, fresh pastries, boiled eggs, prosciutto, focaccia, fresh fruit and more. When we checked out Lorenzo even carried our bags to... More

Fabulous little b&b in Monterosso. Friendly staff and immaculately clean room. The view was absolutely stunning and the walk up the stairs was well worth it. This was the perfect choice for us and I would highly recommend. The rooms are not fancy but the welcoming is tops.

Lorenzo and Giovanni were like family. The 100 steps could have been 200 and it would still be nice. The room was spacious, very clean and had a patio with a view of the roof tops and Med Sea. The breakfast was one of the best of our trip. They served beer and wine in the evening, with fresh cut fruit,on... More

My friend and I spent three nights at Manuel's Guesthouse in October. This was the perfect place to wrap up our vacation to Italy. Monterosso is a lovely town with a quiet pace, so it was nice to cap off our trip to busier Florence with a few nights here. Lorenzo and his father, Giovanni, did a wonderful job taking... More

This guest house is amazing! The view is great and Lorenzo took amazing care of everything. The sweetest guy, really. I was a solo, female traveler that was looking for something safe and comfortable, with a great view and i got all of this and more. The stairs are a little bit of a climb but totally worth it. I... #1 If you can't handle the 130+ stairs up to Manuel's Guesthouse then the Cinque Terre might not be the place for you period because you encounter a multitude of stairs and hills in every one of the five villages. That being said, I'm not in the best of shape and have arthritic knees and I managed just fine! This... More

Well there is over 100 stairs but that is the only negative thing to say about staying here and that is not so bad since mast all of us need the cardio. The innkeepers are what makes this place so special plus the amazing views. They are always helpful with side trips, dinner suggestions, or hiking information. Fresh towels each... More

Typically when I travel I am a hotel guest, and rarely stay in a B&B. But our stay at Manuel's will change my view forever. We were greeted by Lorenzo who offered excellent advice on things to do, restaurants, Etc. Each morning Lorenzo's father Giovani was with Lorenzo making breakfast. I recommend the smoothie! Our room faced the ocean and... More
