The hotel is located very close to the main promenade by the sea. Its 10 mins walking distance from the main train station and around 20 from the old town. The rooms are clean albeit a bit small. The breakfast was satisfactory with a collection of pastries/breads, cereals and boiled eggs. The property has a nice outdoor garden. Overall an... More

Located off the main road in the new part of Monterosso it is a short walk from the train station.. You then can stroll down to the beach or relax in the lovely garden. The rooms are spacious and quite clean. The breakfast is wonderful. The staff is welcoming and this adds to the experience. Just perfect.

We commend the review below. We also had room 310 from which you can see the ocean - just! The hotel was clean, the breakfast good and the staff very good. It's location, at the far end of Monterosso al Mare, means a brisk, flat, walk to the station and the old town but rewards because it is quieter. Only... More

We recently stayed for three nights. Our decision was largely influenced by this hotel being one of the few with their own parking which was very close to the hotel. Be careful when parking out the front, as instructed by the staff, to check in though as by the time we had gone in and found out where the car... More

Stayed there for 5 nights in April 2015 and really enjoyed our stay.Very high standards of cleanliness and service at all times. The Manager [Owner?} was always at the front office to help and their breakfast was of a high standard.Very convenient for the train station about 5 minutes walk away and the beach which is minutes away. .Monterosso is the... This hotel is located in the 'new' section of Monterosso. Few minutes easy walk to the beach/train station/local restaurants. We spent 4 nights here for our honeymoon. The hotel is nothing special and the room was very basic. It was clean though and we had a room looking outwards over the main entrance/courtyard of the hotel which was nice. No... More

We stayed here as part of our Cinque Terre walking tour with Hidden Italy. This is a large multistorey hotel on the edge of the new part of Monterosso near where the Sientiero Blue from Levanto comes out. The room we got given - 105 was on the first floor - was very clean and a comfortable size with a largish... More

We spent 2 nights at the Hotel 5 Terre and I can't say it was great but it also wasn't awful. The hotel feels old in every way - the rooms are small, the furnishings look used/worn, and the decor is really outdated. Our room was clean and hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There is no wi-fi available... More

We were part of a group of 22. Room was adequate, nothing fancy. The hotel let us use a lounge area for our own pot-luck party, food and drinks, of our own. Breakfasts were average or better than the other hotels provided on our trip. An enjoyable place, one block off the main street/beach.
