My Fiance became guite sick when we were visiting Monterosso and at 1:00 am I went down to the lobby not really knowing what I was going to be able to to. With the help of an english speaking hotel guest (Ingrid) to translate to the night staff, they had a doctor come to the hotel within 30 minutes. He... more

The hotel was a quick 10 minute walk from the train station and was easy to find. The receptionist was accommodating by providing us two double-rooms instead of a quad for the four of us...at the same price! I liked staying in this part of the town because it was closer to the beach. We stayed here two nights and... more

We stayed at the 5 Terre in Sept. 2009 and were delighted with our stay. It is super clean, room quite large for European standards, modern bathroom fixtures. Excellent breakfast. Excellent service, they kept our car in their parking and our luggage for 2 days while we walked the paths. The hotel is quiet, a bit away from the main... more

We stayed in Hotel Cinque Terre in Monterosso, Italy July 31 and August 1, 2009. It was absolutely wonderful. We were traveling with our two granddaughters (ages 19 and 17). It was a couple of blocks from the (free) beach and our room had a rooftop window with steps to reach it where you could open the window and see... more

We were told we should not miss the Cinque Terre on our trip to north Italy and the hint was absolutely right!! The environment is incredible and the hospitality even better. Don’t expect big hotels but a family run “bed & breakfast“where you can enjoy the tradition of the land and the sightseeing by boat or trekking! Our room was... more

What a surprise this hotel was to us. We found it on Internet and read reviews about it in Tripadvisor. We were so heartly welcomed and all personnel was so service minded. The hotel was so clean and tidy. And the buffet breakfast was really tasty. There is also a nice garden with tables to relax. We stayed for 5... more

I made a reservation at this hotel based on the reviews at Trip Advisor...but I would like to warn people that this hotel is not as nice as the reviews state. When I arrived, I entered an outdated interior and was greeted by an extremely rude woman (I speak Italian fairly well and could understand her off-color comments more than... more

What a cute little hotel. I must say, in most of these areas, five star hotels are hard to come by. But this place was clean and the staff were super friendly. They gave us advice on where to eat, and their english was fab! Our room and bathroom was spotless and spacious. The linen and decor was outdated, but... more

This is a hotel that provides simple comforts of a family run hotel. The location is perfect for enjoying the beach along the Cinque Terre coast. The hotel is close to the quieter end of the beaches in Monterosso. It is also quiet as well, which is important if you're gearing up to do the hike the next day and... more
