We stayed at this hotel for three nights at the end of August. The hotel itself is very nice, not far from the train station and very close to the beach, restuarants and walking trails.Breakfast is very good. However the staff on reception do not inform you of any information regarding the area, even though you tell them of your intended plans.I was not informed... Very central and convenient but definitely not worth the price. Ridiculously expensive. One of the receptionists was extremely nice and helpful. The day we left we had a minor problem with the car that the hotel was supposed to solve but they sent us to the police station rather than solving it themselves.

The hotel, like many older ones in Monterosso is up several flights of stairs with no attempt to make it easy to get to thereception area. Older travellers beware. We booked the hotel using a popular travel site and were very disappointed to find that even though two of us were staying in the room, we were assigned a single... More

Stay away from this hotell! We booked two of the more extensive rooms, but they were both really small. One of the rooms smelled really bad of mold as well! The air was really wet and "heavy".The smell was so strong that we had problems sleeping. We heard someone else complain as well, and the only thing they did was... More

We only stayed one night in Albergo Degli Amici. It's location is ideal to visit the Cinque Terre. We had a great stay. Breakfast was good, the rooms were rather small but fairly comfortable. The garden which was accessible through the top floor was devided in several terraces and offered a great view over the mediterranean. Don't expect a 5... More

The hotel is amazing. Nothing totally spectacular when comes to room and breakfast but roof terrace garden is amazing and with lovely views. Also the location is perfect. right in the centre of town with beach 5 min walk. Though it is slightly overpriced for what it offers for room size but in Cinque Terre all is congested and expensive... More

We stayed in this hotel while passing through Cinque terre. The roof top terrace has one of the most amazing views. The breakfast was ok, the rooms were clean enough, and staff were friendly. The hotel is certainly well situated. I believe the quality of the hotel and the price were reasonable. I will certainly return.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. There was no noice that would have bothered us. Breakfast was really good and the staff friendly. Great views from the roof terrace ;) Location was excellent. Had some trouble finding the place at first because the navigator directed us to the cemetary... so it is better to come from the south... I had attempted to do my research before booking a hotel. And I was aware that European hotels in historic, heritage sites aren't able to be splendid, spacious and luxurious western-style hotels. But this place was disappointing. Worst aspects: small room (granted I was expecting this), the "Queen bed" was apparently made for 16th century inhabitants who only grew to... More

This hotel provided just what our family of 4 needed - a place to sleep while enjoying the beauty of the area. The included breakfast was wonderful. It provided many choices of fruit and bread and was the only place that had bacon and scrambled eggs during our entire Italian vacation. The WiFi was a problem in that it would... More
