Hardly a hotel other than in Monterosso. Air conditioning a farse. Owners rude for a while, then they tried tobe civil. Restaurant was good. Elevator: A JOKE!! Last century performance at best. If you can claimb you go to Monterosso and Baia is part of it. It is Italy!! more

Everything was good about this hotel except the nasty owner behind the front desk. She refused to turn on A/C and made believe she did not understand our rquest. Each room has it's own A/C controlled by front desk. At 130 euros per night this should not be an issue. The rest of the staff at the hotel was helpful... more

We were able to get this room the day of our stay. The rooms (interconnecting) overlooked the beach and had a balcony. The sound of the surf throughout the night was very soothing and relaxing. This hotel was perfectly situated along the beach strip of Monterosso. Quick two -minute walk to the train and directly across the street from the beautiful beach. Despite booking, and receiving confirmation that the rooms were the higher price rooms, on checkin we were allocated rooms at the back of the hotel, with no view. We booked directly from the hotel through phone/email. The location is incredible, right on the beach. Very cute, small hotel.
