Agavi is RIGHT on the beachfront at Monterosso, very central and only 200 metres from the train station or from the old town area. The room was somewhat functional but I had no issues, the bed was good, everything was clean there was a large window that opened wide and kept the temperature perfect and I had no noise at... More

The Agavi hotel has a great location, however is rather noisy at night when the revelers return home after a night out. The manger was very helpful and the room, whilst spartan was functional. The room lighting was excellent, which is quite usual for such hotels.

We stayed there for 2 nights, it was the most expensive/per night place in our Italy trip, but it was so worth it. The view from the room was breathtaking. The owner Hillary was extremely nice and friendly. As with the rest of the hotels in Italy, it is noisy, well beacuse it is a noisy country. After a while... More

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel was wonderful, as well as the staff. We had an ocean view and listened to the waves crashing at night(which was the only noise we heard). Monterosso is a great place and this little hotel will be visited again!!! Plus it was one of the first buildings in Monterosso which made for an... More

My wife and I stayed here after we decided to extend our stay in Monterosso. We were walking around looking for a hotel to stay in and we walked into the lobby for this building. There is no front desk, just a guy sitting outside the place. He told us the ocean view room would be 80 Euro per night... More

I honestly loved this little hotel! We had a huge window on the side of the hotel and had a view of the ocean! I believe the other rooms have a much better view but I was happy with what we got! The rooms are bright and airy, with everything you need! We could hear the waves of the sea... More

First of all, this hotel is simply really really bad. Yes, it is close to the beach, but the room was extremely small(literally just a bed), the bed was really uncomfortable, and the inn keepers were nothing but rude. I generally gave good reviews to places I have stayed because I am not a picky person, but this hotel was... More

Hotel Pasquale was too pricey for us at €180 per night for 3. So we found this one near train station for €80 per night. No breakfast, hair dryer, or fluffy towels. Right across from beach and great view. Small bathroom but good shower. Mini fridge. Simple but clean & functional.

You are literally 40m from the water here; the problem is that between you and the water is the main "road" for this little town. The same road the drunks walk home on and on the same road mopeds scream by at 4am. Restaurants are nearby and very convenient. We went in October, and found the waiters/waitresses/counter help burned out... More

I went to the Cinque Terre during my unreserved solo jaunt around Italy and figured I would just get somewhere to stay when I arrived. It was low season after all. I passed by and saw a sign that said rooms for rent, but kept walking. After I walked just past the restaurant next door, I turned around to go... More
