Location is very good (for Monterosso standards) and a big plus for this winery/lodging is that it has a private parking which is a very rare thing in Monterosso. Service is decent but not insightful. Italian is the only language the person was speaking, and I mean only. Although, he was very nice and helpful. Rooms are very average, but... More

We have recently spent 6 days at Buranco during our stay in the Cinque Terre. We were in the yellow house. This is a great studio house. The views are breathtaking; breakfast is really good and is served in a most magnificent setting. You are surrounded by olive trees and terraced vineyards and lemon orchards. It does not get any... We stayed with our boys aged 7 and 9. In the pink house, a free standing little cottage up the back. Has upstairs two bedrooms with queen beds and a bathroom, external staircase down to a kitchen and another bathroom. Also up to a rooftop but that also seemed to be the housekeeping area. Accomadation was basic and rustic but... More

We stayed here in May 2014 with another couple who had a 14 month old. We absolutely loved the location because we were so close to Monterosso but felt like we were in the middle of Tuscany with the beautiful vineyards and lemon trees surrounding the rooms. The breakfast served in the morning was outstanding and we enjoyed tasting their... More

I'm hesitant to write this review because this is a bit of an undiscovered paradise, but in the spirit of GoodTravelerKarma, I'm going to pass it on. ;) We sought out Buranco for my friend Becky's birthday during our trip to Cinque Terre. When we arrived, there were only two other people there for a tasting, and they left shorty... More

We stopped in here during a hike and they were so nice to us. We had a wonderful wine tasting as well as some amazing food paired with their wines. The limoncello was beautiful and the Sciacchetra is considered to be some of the best in Italy. THey are very proud of the fact that Obam was served some at... More

10 of us stayed for 5 nights at Buranco. 4 in the White house, 4 in Rosetta & the 2 of us in the Yellow House. Huge spaces, beautiful accommodations, fresh, clean & charming. The yellow is advertized as a double but has a king size bed with a full kitchen, bathroom and a lovely patio. We were delighted with... More

This small B&B (just three structures, accommodating perhaps 16 guests) is nestled in a hillside, with a sheltering pergola draped with arbors of roses and other flowering annuals, and shaded with palm and fig trees. It is located within one of the gems of Italian viticulture, the Buranco Vineyard, which produces a series of renowned wines. Its D.O.C. white has... More

A friend who had visited Cinque Terre twice recommended Buranco Winery Agro-tourism to stay. They have 3 cottages on their property where they grow olives, lemons and of course grapes. They also have a full chicken coop and group of bee hives. The winery is located up in the hills behind the older town of Monterosso. When we first got... More

I recently had a wonderful stay at Buranco (May 2013). It is a very short walk from the city center, but you feel like you are in a different world. The scenery is beautiful among the vines and flowers and it is relaxing to get away from the noise of the city and tourists. The grounds are gorgeous and the... More
