We just returned from a 2 1/2 week trip to Italy. Cinque Terre was one of our favorite stops and Hotel Stella della Marina was our favorite hotel. Everything in the hotel has been newly remodeled. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Our room had a sea view which was absolutely amazing. Breakfast is served on a roof top terrace... More

We had the most relaxing 4 days in Monterosso which offered a good choice of restaurants and definitely the best beaches along the Cinque Terre. Although a little more touristy than the other villages, we stayed in the old town which was less busy than the new town near the train station. We spent a fair amount of time travelling... More

Stayed for 4 nights in this nice family owned boutique ,cozy B&B in the heart of old town Monterroso! Our room is on the 3rd floor, decent sized room w/ a balcony overlooking the village down below and partial sea view and the church. Good variety of breakfast and that spectacular view from the breakfast balcony was just awesome! So... More

Our room was nice with a balcony that looked out onto the streets of the town. Beautiful views of the colorful houses and building. Gabrielle was very helpful with our suitcases and with all our many questions about Monterosso al Mare. He also prepared a wonderful breakfast buffet, of meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, fruit salad, croissants, yogurt, & granola,... More

We stayed at the Stella Della Marina for 3 nights at the beginning of June 2015. It was our first time to Cinque Terre and we're happy we stayed in Monterosso at the Stella Della. It was a little hard for us to find at first, but eventually we fiqured out it was in the little street behind the Moretti... More

My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon.. We were very circumspect before reaching here as the quality of hotels in general in CinqueTerre didn't look very promising online. Nonetheless, I'm glad we were proven wrong. The hotel stay was very comfortable and the host Gabrielle(owner) went out of the way to ensure our stay was comfortable.... More

Our 4 night stay at Stella has exceeded our expectations. Gabrielle works the longest hours of anybody we've ever seen running a hotel - he's always around with a smile on his face and is very helpful. We had a lovely room on the top floor (11) which was furnished in a simple, modern style which contrasts nicely with the... More

This was my second visit to Monterosso and my first staying at Hotel Stella Della Marina...the hotel had a lot to compete with given my first wonderful stay in the town, but Gabriele and the hotel were absolutely lovely. We were warmly welcomed by Gabriele and given a choice of available rooms. The high ceilings and big window made our... More

My wife and I stayed at Albergo della Stella Marina in June of 2015 and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is located in Monterrosso (the largest of the 5 towns, the best place to stay in my opinion) and is owned and operated by Gabriele...who I think may be the hardest working man on the planet. From helping us... More

I am writing this while in my room in this lovely little family run hotel, in Monterosso in the cinque terra. It is really perfect, full of character, and the host Gabrielle makes every effort to help and look after his guests wherever he can. It is up a tiny narrow street in the old town, a beautiful place to... More
