My fiancé and I are backpacking through Europe for 12 months on a tight budget. Our review below is an indication of the experience we had at the Ostello Hostel in Manarola. We stayed in single sex 6 bed dorm rooms. Pros Unreal views of Manarola and the ocean from the women's dorm room. No views in the men's dorm... More

A basic hostel in a great location. Clean dorms, comortable beds with duvets, friendly staff, and yummy food available from the hostel restaurant. I left my phone there and they forwarded it on to Rome for me. Great service. Would defintiely recommend it.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Ostello Cinque Terre in May 2014. Manarola is a wonderful town and offers great access to the other towns in the Cinque Terre. The hostel is very easy to find by following the directions on the website. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The 6-bed all female dorm room on the... More

This hostel is perfectly located (although quite uphill from train station so it's tough carrying bags up!) for hiking and sightseeing. Comfy beds. Lockers available. Negatives: wifi doesn't reach 2nd floor. Bathrooms get dirty & smelly and the small showers have no place to keep your clothes dry. No kitchen or fridge available for guests but affordable restaurant prices.

Beds comfortable and blankets very cozy. Wifi didn't reach my room on the 2nd floor but worked well everywhere else. A generally a quiet hostel, with no real common area to meet people but staff were friendly and facilities clean. I recommend purchasing breakfast in the morning, croissants were delicious! It is worth spending a night in cinque Terre and... More

...a nice solution for solo travellers...cheap enough for beeing in Cinque Terre... pros: - the restaurant where you can have traditional plates and a drink for a bout 10 euros - the balcony outside the restaurante where you can chill out with other guests or surf on internet via wifi - the staff is helpful - the location is on... The fellow at the reception was quite friendly and joked around with us a little bit. Bunks were quite comfortable, and the sheets were clean (a BIGGIE for me). We didn't have to pay for our showers in our room. Not the cleanest bathroom I've been in, but not bad for a hostel! Overall, this is probably one of the... More

This is the best hostel we stayed in while on our trip to Europe. We booked a family room and it was perfect -- but book it well in advance because it's a small hostel and the only one in Cinque Terre. The only thing I didn't like was that it was at the very top of the hill --... More

I didn't feel so at ease in this hostel. First of all, do you receive one coin for get a shower. If you arrive tired and need a shower, do you spend you coin and the next day you don't have another. The water was few cold. This place was very expensive and I felt the staff a little rude... More

I stayed here for one night last week with my 6 year old daughter. We walked over the mountain from Riomaggiore (Via Dell 'Amore was closed due to a landslide) - a brilliant walk with stunning views. Booking was done simply and easily online in advance and payment made. The hostel is an old convent (I think!) and is easy... More
