I am just getting around to reviewing this gem of a hotel from a stay in April 2011. We were a group of 4 adults (2 married couples, family); it was everyone's 1st visit to Cinque Terre (I had been there before in 2003, but did not stay at Arpaiu). - TRANSPORTATION LOGISTICS: We flew RyanAir from Frankfurt Hahn (Germany)... Everything has been said about this place, one of the best B&Bs in the CT. Nice, clean rooms, everything is simple but functional (Ikea), One of the largest and nicest terraces in the CT, free Wi-Fi. All rooms have a view to the sea. Yet, in my view, the best thing about this place is that the great view from... More

We booked the ZinZin room (115 euro) but were upgraded to Mea. It was large, clean and really nicely renovated, especially the huge bathroom. The bed was really comfortable, up there with any five star hotel. The owners don't live on site so it feels quite private - we accessed it with a combination code as we weren't sure exactly... More

Summary: One of the best locations with great views. It is lovely to hang out at the top floor and enjoy a glass of wine while catching the view of Manarola and the rest of the coast. We weren't quite sure of how this place would be when we got to Manarola. We drove in and parked at the parking... More

My friends suggested this hotel to us and im so glad I listened. We stayed in the apartment, which I believe was called "Ondina", earlier this week. It's a bit of a hike up to the location but once you are there you have the most magnificent view. The studio had a modern bathroom with shower, small kitchen with a... More

We traveled all around Europe, and this was by far and away the most memorable room that we stayed in. What a fantastic city, view, and accommodation. We met the caretaker to submit our passports and pay, and were off to the room. We were blown away by the views, I couldn't believe this amazing view that people hiked to... More

We stayed three nights for 390 euros in a room with a balcony and truly breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and harbor area. Other family members had a room without a balcony and with a small window for 300 euros total for three nights. The rooms themselves were disappointing: linoleum floors, no decor, thin covers on the beds, and no... More

The hotel was exactly what you could need and want. Our small group of friends stayed in the two lower rooms and the studio. Pros (I am only going to name a few, though, there are probably dozens) 1. The main hotel's access to the roof top patio was a major plus. We spent every night as a group drinking... More

We stayed in Manarola for 2 nights during our tour through Italy. We chose to stay in Manarola because it was the smallest of the 5 towns. We figured it would be the least touristy and a nice break from the runaround in Florence, Venice and Rome. We think we chose well and absolutely loved our accommodations at Arpaiu B&B.... More

We stayed here for just a couple of nights but it was fantastic! Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Never saw any other guests although they were full. One down fall was that they didnt have a wine opener...so we used some kiwi ingenuity and used a screw driver we found in a cupboard upstairs. Great location and views are phenomenal....... More
