If you are touring Cinque Terre, it is highly recommended to stay 1-2 nights so you can explore the beauty of the region outside the crowded day-tourists times. Manarola is an excellent choice as it is the most picturesque of all with the postcard shot of Cinque Terre. The location of Arpaiu is excellent as the windows open to a... More

We spent two great nights in this small group of apartments sitting high above the sea and with views down the coast to other lovely Cinque Terre towns. Room was really quiet (off the busy main street) but was close to some fantastic restaurants. Manarola is built on the sides of steep hills so be prepared to climb.

This is a spectacular property on the cliff overlooking the ocean. Nicely furnished and clean. However, it is short on service other than collection of payment and passport information. Towels not refreshed over a three day visit. Promised refreshment of k-cups for the coffee maker never materialized. Glasses left dirty in each room, each day. Wifi hard to connect and... More

We really enjoyed our stay at this "hotel" The location is great and I can't say that it is way too far from the train station l. It is a little bit up heal but not for too long, just enough to get a little work out. We saw people carrying their luggage wayyyyy far away. The view from the... More

Superbly located, beautifully fitted out and million dollar views - what more could you ask for? We stayed two nights in the Mea room and Arpaiu was the perfect base for an all-too-brief sojourn in Cinque Terre. The photos on their website don't do the room justice - it's simply lovely. Then there is the terrazza - what a place... More

Arpaiu has the view of the Italian coastline that will make your jaw drop! Three hundred feet above the water with an unobstructed panoramic view from a very clean and comfortable room is incredible. The bathroom was nice with a good sized shower stall. Wifi was included and very good. The walk from the train station to the Arpaiu gains... More

My wife and I stayed at Arpaiu Feb. 14 and absolutely enjoyed the place. It has been recently renovated and is simple, charming, clean, and comfortable. It is now our new favorite place we have visited in the world. The view was absolutely fantastic and even though it was in the 40's at night, we slept with the window open... More

I found this amazing place on Trip Advisor when researching for trip to Italy and immediately wanted to stay here. The town of Manarola is so unique and beautiful. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Arpaiu provides the most dramatic views of the town, the ocean and the surrounding scenery. We felt like we were hanging off a... More

We spent 4 nights in Manarola - 2 in the Ondina Studio and 2 in a room in Vandiris which is also managed by Deborah. Both places are a few doors down from each other so easy to move rooms. The Ondina Studio is really nice - it's spacious and has wonderful views over the ocean. It was clean and... More

What a sweet little room we had at Arpaiu. The location was great and we felt like we picked the best of the cities to stay in. Lounging on the terrace after a day of hiking with our wine, cheese and bread was fabulous! I honestly can't imagine that there was a better place to stay. I had a few... More
