We had an all too short stay in Riomaggiore at the wonderful Alberta Casa Vacanze. Our host, Giacomo, was so quick to respond to all our questions before we arrived. He met us at the train and escorted us up the elevator to his apartment. It was the only time we used the lift, because without suitcases, it was a... More

Staying in the house called Alberta CV for 5 nights was the highlight of our trip to Italy, it is perfectly placed on the water front with amazing views, especially at sunset. Giacomo was a perfect host and was very helpful when we were booking.

Newly refurbished apartment in Riomaggiore. Nice and airy, comfortable, clean. Were met at the train station by the host which I would definitely suggest. Host was gracious, helpful with luggage. We visited all five town in Cinque Terre. We found Riomaggiore to be the best. Enjoyed swimming in the Mediterranean and traveling from town to town by train and boat.... More

From the first communication with Giocomo, (who is an amazing host) I had a great feeling about this "Hidden Gem" in Manarola, & I was not disappointed. 5 nights of bliss. The apartment is right on the waterfront, with a fabulous view, close to lots of great places to eat and drink. Our favourite was the gelato outlet half way... More

Manarola is the most beautiful village of Cinque Terre and this is the best place to stay. Mr. Giacomo, the owner, is extremely helpful and provides excellent hospitality. 3 minutes walk from the Manarola train station and I am so thankful to Mr. Giacomo to come down to train station to receive us and help us with the luggage. We... More

Alberta Casa Vacanze was a hidden gem in Manarola. Giacomo was an amazing host. He would always respond quickly to any questions prior to our arrival, and gave us excellent tips and directions when heading to Manarola, and for what to do and where to eat once there. We loved that we can truly see his passion and love for... More

We stayed 3 nights in the Manarola apartment and it was spectacular! Giacomo was a pleasure to deal with before our arrival and accommodated our late arrival. His restaurant suggestions were also perfect. The view is monumental, the location perfect. Beds are ok. The spiral staircase between the three levels can be exhausting, but if you want the view you... More

Alberta Casa Vacanze is like the perfect place. When I first arrived in Manarola I was instantly hooked with everything this beautiful village has to offer. Great ocean view, simple local life, colorful villages I must say. I'm totally in love with Manarola. It feels like home and this village couldn't be more Italian. Giacomo, the owner was really kind... More

The only thing that would make this apartment (the one in Riomaggiore--he also owns one in Manarola) better is an ocean view, but you won't miss that when you stand on the little terrace and look out at Riomaggiore and the terraced vineyards above and around. This was my third visit to the Cinque Terre, over fifteen years, and this... More
