We stayed here with friends in August 2014. The views were magnificent, the rooms were lovely and Maurizio was an added extra! He gave us ideas and helpful hints to do with walks, eating and getting about. We had 4 or 5 fantastic nights here. I would highly recommend it - unless you have trouble walking up hills - it... The views from our terrace were incredible. Maurizio was a charming and helpful host. He shared a great deal about the local culture, his winemaking and even a taste of some of his mushrooms he had gathered in the forest. It was a great location for exploring all of Cinque Terre. Karen and Kathy

Best priced rooms for our stay in Cinqueterre: we requested 2 rooms at the entrance level. The rooms were surprisingly large : double beds, shower, spotlessly clean, located on the ground floor both with spacious balconies and a wonderful view of the city and mountain. Most spectacular was the night view of a full moon setting over the sea... this... More

We stayed here in November 2014 for 5 nights and supporting previous posters, this is a great place to stay. We rented the apartment and it was perfect for our needs. The apartment has uninterruptible views of Manarola and the ocean.....you can sit there for hours just gazing out. Maritzio was the perfect host and could not do enough to... More

Maurizio was an excellent owner to work with. He spoke good English and was super helpful in recommending how to navigate the hiking trails that would be suited best for non hikers like me. We traveled in off season and felt that we got an excellent price for our accommodations. The set up is 4 or so rooms in a... More

To appreciate the Cinque Terre, it may not be necessary to get away from the 'madding crowds' but it is what made our holiday special. To see Maurizio's face light up when we said we had walked over the mountains from Monterossa to Manarola, was the highlight of our week. (The fact that I spent the rest of the week... More

We stayed in the Aria di Mare for 4 days in October, 2014. The owner, Maurizio, was a warm, gracious, hard working, and helpful host. Our apartment included a terrace overlooking the city and the sea. It was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is not included. Coffee, tea and snacks are included. Our visit was truly a delight.

What a glorious three nights we had at this b and b. The room was up to date with new bathroom fixtures all was spotless clean. Having a refrigerator in the room allowed us to bring in fruit and yogurt for a breakfast on the terrace and keep a bottle of wine chilled for a late night glass on the... More

We have spent a week in Aria di Mare in early September and found that it exceeded our expectations. Our room, which also had a terrace facing the ocean and the vineyards had a great view and we found it to be one of the best spots to watch the sunset. The room itself was spacious and very clean, and... More

Spectacular views from clean, simple guest rooms. 3 have private balconies; we were in the fourth with a great window view of the town and sea. Host Mauri tells you where the hiking is best (and which trails are closed). Breakfast is just Nescafe and some biscotti from a box, but you are here for the view. Pack light for... More
