Two weeks ago, we spent our vacation at Corniglia in the B&B "Il Gatto". When we arrived, the owner, Mr Antonio was awaiting us. He kindly explained us everything about the apartment and the places to visit. The apartment was nice and clean and very comfortable. Antonio is a very kind person. He offered us some fresh pesto made by... More

Location was amazing, special place, Antonio and his son are very helpful and went out of their way, even when we were over 5 hours late with check in when we got lost. The apartment is very clean and comfortable and a good size with all amenities you would need for your stay there. Location was excellent with everything you... More

This really is an amazing place to spend your time in Cinque Terre. Very quaint and quiet village, full of character. The views from 'Il Gatto' are stunning and very extensive - the morning sun streams into the kitchen over the mountain ridge behind Corniglia and from the direction of the village church. The facilities at the property are excellent,... More

I first found this gem in 2010 and just couldn't resist coming back for a second visit in 2013. Corniglia is the smallest and least commercial of the five Cinque Terre villages, and it's right in the middle, so an easy hike or train ride to the other four. And Corniglia has the cleanest and least-crowded swimming area. Il Gatto... More

A lovely spot in Corniglia to enjoy the sunsets over the sea in one direction and a view of the village in the other. B&B Vacanze il Gatto is not actually a B&B. It is a 2 bedroom self catering apartment, no breakfast or any service during your stay included. One night a weary traveller rang the doorbell asking if... More

We had 4 adults staying here in June. Il Gatto is a great little place to escape life for a little while. No tv. No internet. Just amazing views and peace and quiet. Corniglia is a great little town. It is nice and quiet in the evening, but bustling with people just passing through during the day. Il Gatto had... More

We were so delighted with the accommodation we had chosen. Firstly, the location if perfect if you prefer a quieter village atmosphere. Corniglia is the smallest of the 5 villages and for us it was great to return to this quiet haven each evening, not so small that there was nowhere to go at night but small enough to retain... More

We stayed at Il Gatto for 4 nights in June and it was fantastic. The apt had everything you could want, was immaculately clean and close to everything in the village. It is a great place to stay to explore the 5 Terre. In my opinion Corniglia is the best of all the 5 villages to stay in as it... More

"Il Gatto" was perfect for us. Two bedrooms (one with small balcony), common room, kitchen, and bathroom. The location was great, with a wonderful view of the Ligurian Sea. Best of all, however, was Antonio, who met us in the square, escorted us to the lodgings, arranged an extra room for our 5th and 6th travelling companions, and answered our... More

A great location to explore Cinque Terre. Il Gatto is a comfortable two bedroom, fully equipped apartment with everything for self- sufficiency. Booking was easy on the internet. Antonio and his family were very helpful, with son Stefano speaking very good English. Antonio also helped us with transport to the train when leaving as our bags were heavy. Corniglia is... More
