We stayed in this small family run pensione for six nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and fairly spacious, and the views from both the windows were just amazing. In one direction there was the blue and white of the sea and from the other window the higgledy piggledy houses in a mixed spread of... More

Location: Corniglia, in the Cinque Terre. The place: While this restaurant does have an interior, I didn't see the inside of it because I was too mesmerized by the great terrace, the wonderful weather and the stunning view. The terrace has several tables and can accommodate, I would say, at least 100 people. The food: Because I was hiking with... More

The food at Da Cecio is standard Italian fare done to a reasonable quality, and the views from the terrace are amazing. However, the service was unfriendly and chaotic and we strongly felt that the price was much too high. This place presents itself as a classy choice, however it's all style no substance. There are far nicer places to... More

We stayed in Corniglia for 3 nights and , though we did not stay here, we ate at Cecio's twice. We were not disappointed. The food and wine are local and delicious. The view of the Ligurian Sea is lovely and the staff is friendly and professional.

My wife and I stayed for two nights here on our trip through Europe. The hotel and restaurant have a great local feel. Cristina and all of the staff treated us like "famiglia" right as we arrived. Our room was ready when we arrived and was extremely comfortable (and good-sized - esp. for Europe). We were lucky to have a... More

We loved this room because it was a little bigger than other rooms we looked at and it had the balcony overlooking the ocean and the town. It was very basic, and it did not have a refrigerator, wifi, aircon or breakfast. But it was very inexpensive, the staff left it spic and span when we moved in and touched... More

Weve dined in nearly ninety countries and never had better meals than those we enjoyed at Cecio. The cliffside setting over the Ligurian Sea, the friendly staff that makes you feel like you're dining with family, the lovingly and exquisitely prepared, Ligurian inspired cuisine, and the outstanding local wines make for a truly unforgettable experience. We went back again and... More

While the view from our room was amazing- I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The website is very deceiving. There was no breakfast, no wifi, and no air conditioning. The room was very basic and we felt that the service we received was very poor. We felt very unwelcome at both the hotel and the restaurant and were... More

We stayed in early May for a few days on our first visit to Cinque Terre. Although we had little knowledge of all the towns, we had originally wanted to stay in one of the end towns, but we're so grateful we ended up in Corniglia. Monterosso and Riomaggiore were both packed with tourists and this town was much quieter... More

Three friends and I stayed at Da Cecio in October. Granted, different travelers want different things, so as background, I like to stay off the beaten path where I am around more locals than tourists, where it is clean and scenic, and especially where I am treated with warmth and hospitality (ALWAYS remembering that I need to reciprocate with respect...
