The Antico Borgo is a small B&B, hotel. We had a room with a view, I had asked for it months in advance and thanks to Marca got it. The rooms are fine, the 2 with a view have no airco, the others do. The bed is a bit hard, but the breakfast in the morning is fantastic. Levanto is... more
The hotel itself was not bad, however, the map they provided was terrible and even locals had trouble directing us. If you stay here make sure you have very good directions! more
I can't say enough about this beautiful B&B. The rooms are elegant and beautifully decorated. Everything in the place is first-class. The staff, including Carlo, could not be nicer. Once you get here, you will not want to leave. The hotel is set on the side of the mountain, overlooking Levanto and the sea (you have to ask for a... more
Located 5 miles from the town of Levanto (with restaurants, shops, markets, train station), this little B&B was charming. The breakfast was extra special due to all the homemade treats! There was no AC but a fan was provided. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom smelled a bit of septic tank at times, but only during our... more
First of all, it's one of the most beautiful places on earth. The B&B is located in a medieval village on top of a mountain overlooking the village of Levanto and the sea. The views are magnificent. Breakfast, which is a work of art in itself, is served on the terrace. All the food is elegant and homemade. Cecilia makes... more
We stayed there for one night on mid May. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The way up to the village is panoramic and so is the view from their terrace. Breakfast is very good - better than the average italian breakfast served elsewhere. more
l' Antico Borgo was perfect in every way. We explored the entire region from Genova to Lucca and we were so very happy with our selection. It really is one of those truly unique places that you happen upon very, very rarely. The room was wonderful, the staff was great and the food was very good too. We didn't want... more
All the other reviews of this B&B are correct. This is probably the best place you will stay on a trip to Italy. The rooms are huge; bathroom is immaculate; breakfast is divine; view is spectacular; owners and staff friendly; and price affordable. The location is perfect if you want to "get away" but still be close to the beach... more
Although a little bit of a chore to find, the Antico Borgo is a gem. Cecilia is a delight and produces a breakfast with all her family favourites that is second to none. We would certainly stay there again as it served as a perfect oasis after a day of crowds on the Cinque Terre. more
