We had a junior suite. The room was rather dark and faced walls. The mattress was not very comfortable and the bathroom did not have comfortable to place things next to the sink. The water pressure was extremely low and made it difficult to rinse shampoo off the hair. The main problem was the air conditioning which did not work... More

Nice and friendly staff . One of the best breakfast in Italy. Comfortable beds are in the room. Some disadvantages - slow wifi and extremely hard to find parking place especially in Saturday evening .

This hotel is amazing from the modern architecture to the Roman ruins incorporated in the walls.Even the pencils were fabulous. Set in the middle of the old city this is a great location! The staff is fabulous - friendly helpful great recommendations. Breakfast is fabulous and be sure to check out the glass floor to see how far down and... More

We originally booked to stay at the James Joyce hotel but upon arrival we found out we'd been upgraded to stay at Urban. We were happy about this because of its clean, modern finish. The room was very minimalist with a huge bed which after a couple of busy days seemed very enticing. Everything was very light and airy with... More

Just wrapping up a 5 night stay in a Loft Suite accommodation at UHD. The staff have been warm and friendly, very accommodating of my limited Italian skills, and check-in was a breeze. The Loft Suite is spacious and not a part of the main building. It's adjacent to the small main building, separated by a charming, narrow pedestrian alley... More

The hotel is lovely, very clean, bright and modern. Located next to the Piazza Unità and the sea. In the morning we woke up of the scent of freshly baked croissants, and the ringing of bells. Breakfast is very rich and is served in a hall with a transparent floor, below which see the ruins of the old Trieste. The... More

This hotel is in general really nice and I definitely recommend it, however there are some issues, like extremely small windows and almost no parking in the vicinity (hotel does have vallet parking service, but I'd rather have my car close to me). People are very friendly and breakfast absolutely excellent!

We stayed three nights in this hotel and would recommend it and stay there again. We flew into Trieste and caught bus 51 to Trieste. I imagine a taxi would cost a great deal more than the Euro 4.10 we paid and it is a lovely trip along the coast road. From the bus terminus we walked to the hotel... More

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but nice modern, clean hotel. Nothing fancy but a nice basic hotel. Good breakfast and staff is very helpful. Right in the middle of the city. We found parking on the street right around the corner, otherwise they will park if for you for $25 or so.

I chose a "loft suite" at the hotel since I like the idea of having a separate space from the bedroom. The "living room" has no sofa! It has two small round tables (one next to a small armchair) and one just standing on its own. Disappointing and not comfortable to relax in. Overpriced. Moreover, the "suites" are across a... More
