I arrived at 11.20pm in Trieste. They weren't flexible and didn't let me in since the hostel shutted its doors at 11pm. I spoke with the owner (I suppose) on the phone and he was really rude and agressive to me and my friend. He said some bad words to us.. Nice Ghega, nice.. I was in Trieste with no... More

The hostel is in a great location just a short hop from the train and bus stations and also the city centre. This is important as hostels are often a long way away. The dormitories are very big and have only three beds which is comfortable. Unfortunately there are no lockers and breakfast is not included. However supermarkets and cafes... More

Back alley, yet very well located. Services around but not anything special. This is good for what it it. Stop between Venice and Croazia. Building is dank and no lights. Not knowing it was on fourth floor we walked the stairs. Surprisingly nice and clean. Woman who runs it cleans deep. Room pleasant, comfortable bed complete with a television one... More

Having finally found the hostel (it has no sign) we were surprised by the easiness to get to it from the bus station. The entrance and lift are welcoming, this unfortunately can not be said for the owner/man in office. We have never stayed anywhere where the staff have been so rude! His dog almost attacked us and he replied... More

Seeing the strategic position, that is near the central station, and considering the vey good service, the cleaning service and the way the owners were always kind and willing - as well as helpful - my rewiew can be nothing but positive. I also add the price: as a rover as I am, I like to spare every single cent... More

We stayed 3 nights at this hostel and found it to be perfectly suitable. The location is fantastic - less than 5 mins from bus/train station and a short walk to the main pier and city centre. The room was spacious and comfortable and gladly with a fan. Bathroom was adequate with a good shower. The member of staff who... More

I stayed here for one night as a stop over point. The location was great! I travelled alone with just my backpack and it only took me a 5 minute walk across the street to get there from the train station! Grocery stores are a short walk away also. The hostel is rather small with no inclusions of breakfast, there's... More

I stayed here for 2 nights on my own. On the positive side, it is a fairly handy location, being 15 mins walk into the town, and 5 mins from the train and main bus station. Also on the plus side, I booked a shared room but had a very spacious private room to myself. My arrival was problem free,... More

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. Based on the written location that it is close to the city centre and the beach, I must say it is a lie. City centre is 15 minutes walking and yet yo are not sure if you are already there because noone is in the city in the evening. The beach is... More

We'd booked into this hostel based on relatively positive reviews on here, but our experience was a lot less positive. Firstly, despite having booked ages ahead for a double room, we were given a room with two beds pushed together - this is common and not normally a problem at all but these were two completely different sized beds with...
