We initially found this hotel through the Slow Food guide book and we were not disappointed. The room we had was spacious, clean, comfortable, air conditioned and decorated with good taste. The hotel is very central (just a few minutes walk to the main square) and close to lots of great restaurants and night life. There is no dedicated parking... More

L'Albero Nascosto is where the magic starts. If you let yourself be taken by this place you will not regret it. Not only are the rooms of great taste and love for every little detail, the artwork in the house is stunning and has all varieties of stories to tell. Also the rooms are spacious, cosy and quiet while the... More

“Everything we look for in a hotel while traveling was right here. We love staying in a small, unique, centrally located spot that also offers a few extras to make us feel at home. This had it all. As we drove up, the proprietor could tell we were frazzled and offered to park our car for us. Inside the welcoming... More

L'Albero Nascosto was a real find and made our stay in Trieste even more enjoyable. Our room was large and airy and while it looked out over the narrow street, it was quiet when the windows were closed. The art work on the walls of the rooms and in the breakfast room and sitting room was by local artists and... More

This centrally-located hotel offers very comfortable rooms. We stayed on the very top floor (no elevator but the host carried one of our suitcases up). Our room had a kitchenette (with beverages in teh fridge) and a large bathroom (though the shower was small). Each room is named for a different kind of wood. Breakfast was terrific--fresh, flaky croissants as... More

if you are looking for reasons to visit Trieste here is one: Albero Nascosto. Ten different rooms for ten different visits. Also, the owner is the kindest of all Italian we have ever met. We loved the room, we loved the breakfast and we loved Triest. The taste of old Italy that has not yet been spoiled.

Very homey, big welcome from the family (father & sons), lovely big room (suite that slept 3-4), wonderful mid-century furniture and lots of nice art. My kind of place. This could easily be someone's home. Warmth abounds. The moment you arrive you know that you are somewhere special. Brilliant location. Though I don't plan on revisiting Trieste, I would happily... This is a great hotel in a good central location. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and Ginger the resident dog was a big hit with our child. Breakfasts were good with a choice of interesting jams and great coffee. We would choose this hotel again

A few days ago, my wife and I spent two nights at this hotel. From the moment we walked in the door, the feeling of home surrounded us as we were warmly greeted by staff and the owner and provided a spacious, comfortable room. Walking into the lobby, you are immediately offered refreshments for the weary traveler. You face history... More
