I was in town for the G8 Foreign Ministers Meeting and was thrilled with my stay at this little gem. The room (#7) was gorgeous, with a loft acting as an extra bedroom. The breakfast was delicious, with hazelnut spread and yummy little croissants The women at reception are lovely and sophisticated Trieste princesses, and I miss them already. Stay... more

This is a great hotel, bascially what every hotel should be. Attention to detail is great. The rooms are bright, well furnished, the bathroom was lovely and we liked the extra living space. Staff very friendly and a good location. Would definatly stay here again. more

We were in Trieste for a few nights, and we chose this hotel on the strength of its rating on TripAdvisor. It has an good location, just a few minutes from the main square - the area seems to be undergoing quite a bit of restoration, but this didn't disturb us at all. The staff were friendly and so helpful,... more

Located close to town and harbour, and five minutes' walk from the must-see Cattedrale di San Giusto. It scored very highly for comfort, décor, breakfast and – not least – the helpfulness of all the staff! And, the icing on the cake, were their recommendations for eating out. Definitely one of the best small hotels we have come across! more

I wish I could have cloned this charming little hotel for all the cities I visited on this trip. I stayed in a single room on the second floor. It had a curtained off kitchen/dining area on a natural light atrium. It made for a nice little sitting area. The bed was a single bed. The TV had CNN and... more

Well, after thoroughly analyzing Tripadvisor comments, and seeing this was the #1 hotel in Trieste, I went ahead and booked it for 5 days. I would have to say it is almost perfect. The owners are lovely people, very helpful, the accomodations are lovely. Basic, but very comfortable and clean, with small kitchenette and table. Morning breakfast was always a... more

This hotel is perfectly located in Trieste..but be carefull, if you have a car, they don't have a garage and you'll find to look for a spot in the surroundings street (parking is free from 8pm till 8am). The hotel is small (10 rooms) so book ahead of time. The rooms are actually small apartments, with a small kitchenette, hard... more

This is a fabulous little hotel. Our room (number 10 of 10), right at the top of the building, was modern, comfortable, and extremely clean. The drinks in the minibar are good value too. The breakfast is simple but enjoyable, and the staff are very approachable. There is also free WiFi. If I was ever going to Trieste again, I'd... more

This quiet hotel in the heart of old Trieste is a gem. The rooms are spacious with modern bathroom and kitchen facilities, the breakfast is ample and the coffee is good -- and available any time of day. What makes this hotel special, however, is the staff. From the owner to the cleaners, everyone we encountered was helpful, friendly, and... more
