Do NOT choose this place!!! We booked this hotel for three nights and it was the worst experience we have ever made!!! We travel a lot and this was a very negative experience!!! This hotel is good for what you pay. It is a clean, pleasant hotel quite near the centre of Trieste. Our room was comfortable enough with a nice bathroom and ceiling fan for the warmer evenings. The breakfast however was a little disappointing. For a start the breakfast room was very small and people had to wait in the corridor... more

I would very much recommend this "hostel". It is newly done up, clean & modern & is situated on the first floor of a large old "Hapsburg/Austrian empire type" building.
