A night with children after a very long drive, and we'll worth it. Stunning location, peaceful, lovely service and very helpful staff. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and the food excellent. We will definitely be back. The only downside is that there are no useful (children) TV channels in either English or French. Not everyone speaks German.

Spent 3 nights in that hotel for a business trip. Room was big, very clean and confortable with a great view over the bay (one can even hear the sea from the room). The hotel provides free wifi (and it works). Apart from the view, the breakfast is somehow quite average (diversity but no great quality). Overall, the hotel provides... More

this hotel is superb, from every respect, aesthetics, value, location, a european fantasy. i loved reading usenko's review and sincerely hope it dissuades his caliber of tourist from joining us in a truly sophisticated and lovely experience. the stay here simply transcends hospitality, comfort and beauty on a world scale. a treasure.

By far one of the best hotel I have ever stayed! The location is fantastic as it is walking distance from the Castello Miramare. most of the rooms have also the sea view. The staff is very firendly, at our arrival they offered an immediate upgrde of the room. Rooms are excellent, the style is minimal but they are very... More

The most amazing hotel we have ever stayed in. The view from our window, overlooking the Adriatic Sea, was amazing. Eating breakfast on the patio was a highlight of both our days in town. A cab is required to get from the train station to the hotel, but the taxi stand was right outside the station and we didn't have... More

The place, the view, terrace, gardens and rooms couldn´t be nicer. Sitting in the balcony is pure bliss. The room was perfect, the restaurant very good. And that part of Trieste is very beautiful. The hotel sits between two marvelous castles (Duino a few miles away, and Miramar at walking distance). The loveliest experience! We payed much more in other Italian... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights early September 2014. I choose it because of good reviews and seaside location; I wanted relaxing time. Despite they call themselves a 5 star hotel they have no idea of international 5 star hotel standards. The hotel turned out to be a low standard property with bad service, mediocre food and overcharging... More

A excellent hotel at about 7 km from Trieste with 4 stars and so it is also more expensive. The view from the terrace of the hotel, which is located on a hill surrounded by greenery is beautiful. But if someone has to spend the night or to stay a day or two the choice is other less expensive hotel... More

This is a really lovely old fashioned hotel with an elegant style. It is on the rocky coast of Trieste but has a fabulous terrace with a stunning view of the Mediterranean where breakfast is served. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a super beach lido with a bar and a sunbeds carefully patrolled by lifeguards... More

Perfect location with stunning sea-view, own beach area and good breakfast. Be careful as first we were offered a sea-view room with obstructed view (because of a tree). Very small elevator and some areas no elevators, only stairs.
