Unbeatable location, top cuisine (best swordfish carpaccio I have ever eaten), very attentive waiters, nice and spacious rooms. Although receptionist forgot to tell us that our car arrived from garage and we waited for 20 minutes more, the overall impression of very high standards hotel is not spoiled.

This is a wonderful location for exploring Trieste at the heart of the best shopping and good eateries. Breakfast is served in side or out and while simple very pleasant. I felt the room was a little small for 2 adults and a child and definitely over priced as we paid nearly £100 per night. Some renovation works have taken... More

Stayed here for 9 nights during a business trip. Hotel is centrally located quite close to the sea and Piazza dell'Unita d'Italia. Staff was very friendly and service-minded. Room was clean and quite fresh. Minor complaints was that WiFi reception was quite poor in my room and there were too much tv-channels to choose from :) Hotel is situated on... More

Stayed here in Trieste for 4 nights the hotel is centrally located on a pedestrian street a short walk from the sea front and the main squares of the Hapsbourg city centre this is a four star hotel and the rooms were as one would expect quite large ours overlooked the street at the side which was not pedestrianised but... We stayed 3 nights at the Palace Suites, a separate building from the main hotel which is across the pedestrian zone. Both buildings are beautifully maintained and have the charm of turn of the 20th century Trieste (Art Deco everywhere). The suite itself was roomy with a good size bed and bathroom and an additional full kitchen with dishwasher, coffee/tea... More

Finished our trans alpine bicycle trip here. This newly renovated place right in the middle of the pedestrian zone with lovely room and super friendly and accommodating service. Great breakfast, a bar an outside cafe, the internet actually works. Easy walking distance to all the hot spots in town. Not one of the gigantic "convention style" hotels yet a nice... More

I enjoyed the hotel because of its central location on a quiet pedestrian street. There are many restaurants and bars around and everything is close. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The toiletries could have been better but that is the only defect. Breakfast selection is not very wide but better than in other places in Italy. Coffee... More

Trieste is not on everyone's bucket list, but if you go Hotel Continentale is a comfortable, quiet reasonably priced alternative. The buffet breakfast is excellent. Staff are congenial and helpful. Point of concern: if you have an early flight the taxi will run 65 euros flat rate. The bus is not an option early in the morning. Trieste is not... More

I can definitely recommend this hotel, friendly staff, clean and nicely everywhere, good breakfast, cozy bar with outdoor seating right in the shopping area. Within walking distance to all points of interests. Super choice which we will definitely choose again.

Excellent location on pedestrian zone of Trieste, fantastic breakfast and three blocks from hotel you've plenty of public parking space where you can pay even until next day late hours and is cheaper than hotel parking, however the hotel also offers to their guests private parking with additional cost. From this hotel you can have all Trieste at walking distance... More
