It has nice location, clean rooms and bathrooms, but has many pitfalls. First of all, elevator always stopa at divverent elevation than floors, so you need to lift you baggage always. Staff is ubfriendly, the rooms were not cleaned on the time, and we got a room transrormed from magazine. The only way to close the door was from the... More

I don't understand the relatively low ratings of hotel Roma. We booked an apartment and were positively surprised. Although we arrived already at 11 in the morning, we could move in immediately. The apartments are in an annex, about 50 meters away from the hotel and they are relatively new, with some small kitchen facilities and a very nice bathroom.... More

It is walking distance to bus and train stations. The room was clean and shower was nice. The staff were informative and communicated well in English. The only strange thing about the hotel is that it is not handicap friendly. You have to walk up stairs to get to elevator. The breakfast was good and internet fast.

This large comfortable hotel is ideally located just two minutes walk from Trieste Railway and bus station, although old world quaintness it still gives excellent service and value for money, rooms are large clean and comfortable and the buffet continental breakfast although not sumptuous has something for every taste to fill up on overall food value for money

Unfortunately it is necessary even on the lowest floor to lift luggage up and down steps. This is because they could not install elevators in the already constructed building except by a building an extension. Therefore on leaving the elevator `one either walks up or downstairs and this even applies to ground level. The main advantage of the hotel is... More

First off, the exterior doesn't match up to the interior. I thought this would be a charming antique hotel but it was more of a time capsule failure. Negatives: The rooms are awkwardly shaped and all different sizes, the air conditioner doesn't turn on, the shower changes tempatures, the shower doesn't drain water so it easily floods the bathroom, the... I booked this hotel last month for 4 nights. The hotel is so close to the central train station and bus station and to the city centre. The only problem is that the airconditioning was being turned off and the temperature at that time was 25 degrees centigrade. It was really hot. I reported it to the receptionist but to... More

I had dreamed of going to Trieste for some time, after several trips to Italy. I had reads of Trieste being the "complex, complicated, but enthralling" unique Italian city, situated in a truly original cultural and geographical area which embraced an intellectual, quirky quality, and possessed an ancient and complex history....a must see! Well, this integral city left me depressed... More
