The hotel is located well above Trieste, about the same height as the castle but on a neighbouring hill. Instead of driving up through the old town (where our GPS took us the first time around), better to take the main ring-road from the East that makes for an easier approach. We stayed for two nights and were amazed at... More

This is a great hotel for families with small children. Not only were the staff warm and friendly, but one of the receptionists even spent time playing with our three year old daughter and nine month old son. The lobby was filled with toys, making this hotel my daughter's favorite. Travelling with small children can be difficult, so it was... More

Great room and staff. Very clean nice morning breakfast. Walking distance to the best Pizza I have ever eaten. The owner was from Naples. The beer was horrible so we washed it down with some wine. The Italians seem to drink wine for breakfast. It was dark and we headed out to the Pizza Parlor. We got lost and walked... More

We were very satisfied with our stay. Hotel is modern & includes nice little details like books about Trieste in the lobby, little inspirational quotes at the breakfast table, and little choclates/tea in the lobby in the afternoon when we would return. All the staff was friendly, and make you feel welcome. Breakfast was amazing; the pastries were unbelievably delicious...all... More

All modernized boutique hotel, with friendly staff. Quite small rooms, some are with nice views. Unfortunately placed in a very cal, area on the hill slopes, quite far by feet from the city center. Not the best spot on the room side: they are also small. The only remarkable thing is the very nice breakfast!

First time at this hotel - loved it. Clean rooms, modern and all the amenities you need. Very nice breakfast included in the price. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Loved the location (although it's not in the center of town, which could be a drawback for some). Technology (WiFi in every room) savy and beautifully decorated and designed. Will stay... More

Professional, very kind, flexible staff and service, good location, very nice rooms. They served wonderful breakfast, they can help everything what you want to do in Trieste. Overall I was compleately satisfied. We stayed with our 21 old baby and everything was perfect.

This is a fabulous boutique type hotel tucked away from the hustle bustle & noise of the city below, but close to the bus route. The very best part - we were greeted each morning with a huge offering of delicious breakfast yummies, many baked by the amazing Danielle. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The lobby has all... This is a small and comfortable hotel. Our room was pleasant, with a bit of the Adriatic visible in the distance. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was capable. There is pleasant outdoor seating. We went to the local supermarket for groceries and had picnics on the deck. The hotel is some distance from the center of things. That is both... More

Nothing really stands out about this place.  It's nicely average.  I did enjoy the walk into town but it's not for the faint of heart.  Lots of hills is an understatement!  The concierge gave us a great recommendation of a little cafe for dinner-excellent food!  Sacra Osteria  Speaking Italian is helpful here.  We failed in that dept. but the couple...
