We initially booked a room at this hotel which was surprisingly inexpensive but when we saw how tiny and cramped it was, we decided to go with the larger corner bedroom with expansive window views, which was of course much more expensive. But we were glad we did because it made our stay even more special. San Marino has been... More

We stayed one night recently: great location right at top of mountain with view Northwest over the countryside. Very high quality room and bath and amenities. Was foggy and wintry so not crowded. Parking still tight but included. Wifi worked fine. Rooms smallish but view and quality worth it. Very accessible for walking tour and shopping. Very recommended for a... More

Admittedly, San Marino is a tourist trap deluxe, but I was lucky enough to be there during a February snow storm, and had the mountain top to myself. The rooms are SMALL. The hotel has a lovely ground floor breakfast room which opens onto a beautiful patio area. The bar area is comfortable and inviting. (Great pub grub; the sausage... More

Right at the top of San Merino - easy to walk to the towers, shopping streets outside the hotel. Difficult to park - although we were there on 26 December and it was packed with tourists. We sat by the fire in the bar and enjoyed a very pleasant local wine. Nice ambience. Didn't try the restaurant. Beware! When they... More

Nice hotel right in the center of the tourist shops. Clean, receptionist spoke english and breakfast was lovely. Although our room was on the first floor looking onto the street, it wasn't noisy. Would recommend.

I was stay here 2 days with my friend, the stuff were more courteous with us and friendly! Ah, before to pay the parking, I suggest to ask to receptionist the tickets, is better! For all day with parking ticket is 8€ with hotel's ticket is 4€...

This was our first visit in San Marino and hotel Cesare was just a perfect choice. Located in the old town, just a few meters from the main sights. The room was nice with a view towards the sea and Rimini. Breakfast was average and included tasty italian espresso. The night bar should have been opened until 10 pm. The... More

Situated inside the walls of the walled city and many rooms having spectacular views. My room was particularly small buit made up for it with spectacular views across San Marino town and mountains beyond. The hotel was generally clean and tidy with lovely staff. The bathroom was perhaps a little tired and the bed was far to firm for me... More

Not much to recommend even going to San Marino, but if you do - this is a nice hotel with a warm and friendly staff. The only negative is that it is on the main drag (although it is a pedestrian street). We were awakened by a load of wood being dumped across the street for the wood-fired oven restaurant.... More

Classy hotel with a superb restaurant conveniently located just inside the east wall of the centro storico. A short walk to the First Tower. Our room was spacious and had a balcony with spectacular views to the west and a window with a view of the fortress. The hotel has no parking lot of its own since it's just inside... More
