Perched high up on the mountain of San Marino, this comfortable and well appointed hotel gives stunning views across the Italian countryside. The rooms are large and nicely decorated with good en suite bathrooms. The 'superior' rooms give the best views. Breakfast, which was included in the price, was good and plentiful. The hotel is well placed for exploring the... More

Great location and great value! But, for a long stay, I don't recommend. Half of the hotel has rooms on the backside (where we were) and the road is noisy at all hours with cars. The decor is really old and tired - rather James Bond circa 1975. Also, only one outlet worked for us - and we had the... More

The location of this hotel is unparalleled to others. The view that you look at is so breath taking , you can actually see forever. The lobby is fabulous, the rooms are large with a balcony . The man in the reception was Mauro, an exceptional man who did his utmost to make my struggle with my laptop easier to... More

Although our room had been partially refurbished with a modern bathroom which was welcome, the hotel still feels tired, with long dark corridors and an old fashioned look. The bed was very uncomfortable. The views are better from the higher floors, there was free wifi, breakfast was adequate. It's just a short walk to San Marino's centre which is a... More

Good nice rooms with balcony opening out to valley in the front. Staff more business like. No initiative as far as tourist help is concerned. Decent breakfast spread. Hotel is expensive compared to what is on offer. Higher floors better. No Wi-Fi, no tea / coffee maker in room. Excellent location.

When travelling, I have expectation. I dream. That is not the less important either a less pleasant part of my trip. The hotel could hardly meet a single dream or fulfill a part of my expectations excepting the valley view from the mountain of san-marino and welcoming staff. The profits. You can drive directly to the entrance of the hotel... More

Pluses: Perfect location. Big balcony with fantastic view (but just from the second floor and up!). Rather big room. A lot of parking places on the street near hotel for 4 euros per night. The breakfast was poor, but with ham, cheese and eggs. Professional and helpful staff in the morning of check-out (10.07.13) Minuses: The room was old and... More

Arrived only to find a mix up in the booking date (not their fault). They (Gabriella) bent over backwards to accommodate us and were very helpful (parking, where to eat, what to see, etc.). The rooms were quite small but clean and well appointed (our original booking was for larger rooms). Everything we requested was done promptly and with a... More

We stayed in the hotel for one night only and felt sorry about one thing - there was one night only. This amazing place (San Marino) worth spending several days to discover. The hotel itself is very nice, but balcony views are simply breathtaking. We absolutely loved everything, including the dinner in the hotel's restaurant.

This hotel is sumptuous. We had the nice suite which was splendid overviewing the mountains. The view was superb. The room was spacious and well decorated. The location of the hotel is central: you can walk to the Museums and of course nice restaurants around.
