Room was ok, but they will clobber you with extras, when you negotaite with them ensure you get it in writing as they will change the terms at the checkout. We stayed for a week, we booked through the internet bed & Breakfast. We wanted to use the beach and were told that it was 60E per day! We paid... more

We spent 4 nights here staying in room 123 for our wedding anniversary. Whilst we were told we were upgraded for free to a superior room this was simply not the case as it was the standard room we booked. Telling us this white lie on check in also let us down on entering the room. As mentioned in some... more

We stayed here as part of a large classic car club meeting with particiapnts from all over Europe, taking over the entire hotel, so our experiences may not entirely represent the reality for guests who stay at normal times. We had a room in the residence building, next to the main building. It was superb - a very typical "grand... more

Unable to book a whole week in first choice hotel in Riccione we decided to complete our stay for three nights at the Grand Hotel. One can imagine in the past, this was indeed very Grand, and the focus for socialites and well travelled. However, the building is in desparate need of some tlc and some serious money throwing at... more

This is an iconic hotel in need of a face-lift. Wonderful staff with the exception of an extremely grumpy General Manager who is rarely available (either in a "meeting" or off the property). His offhand manner really spoilt our stay as he gave us the impression that our 3-night vacation was of no value to him whatsoever. more

Arrived at lunchtime reception had two members of staff, one was engrossed in a personal chat with a friend. Waited until other person was free. Place looked weary and very very short staffed. Eventually saw the receptionist who booked us in and said no rooms where free, just sit and wait until you are called. This was beginning to feel... more

I regret to state and that was evident during my stay at the hotel that the hotel improves its financial situation on the account of its customers' comfort - even economizing on napkins (putting already open packs), soap (which is not available in bathrooms), on air conditioning (which is not working), on the staff (which is not servicing), etc. They... more

What a wonderful hotel - me and 2 girlfriends went for a 5 day stay by way of a "classy" hen weekend - it was class indeed. I did look at booking this hotel a couple of ways, I rang the hotel directly and was quoted a much higher price than by booking it through lastminute.com and cheap flights, We... more
