First I have to say that if it wasn't for SPG I would have never visited Rimini. Rimini is a great summer destination in Italy (as I found out during this visit). The service was average and the room was large for European standard with a great view of the beach (I stayed in the family room with balcony). The... more

We stayed here just one night using SPG points. It was a waste of points to say the least. The hotel has a nice location, but the smell in the room was just overpowering and foul. The bathroom smell was the worst. I am not sure what the smell can be described as, but unpleasant is an understatement. The bed... more

Staying here reminded me of why you cannot trust quality consistency across a hotel chain. We stayed in a Le Meridien in Vienna that was simply out of this world. However, this Le Meridien was simply bleah. The biggest issue we had was the smell emanating from the bathroom. It smelled like sewage, and we all could only assume it... more

This is the third year that my sister and I have stayed in this property. Each summer the service and hotel have decreased in level. This year was the worst so far. We booked a stay partially revenue and partially using points through the Starwood web site and with a call from NY to the hotel. First we were roomed... more

My husband and I will never come to this hotel again. Our room was tiny and our bathroom smelled. The front desk staff was not always helpful. They were polite most of the time but gave us bad directions numerous times. It seemed like they just did not care.On one occasion, we asked the girl at the front desk for directions... more

I read other reviews before visiting and must say that they all seemed spot on. The location is very good and you are in the heart of the atmosphere with many restaurants, bars etc within a few metres. You also have Beach 34 directly across the road, the facilities there are very good and we paid 15 euros for 2... more

We stayed for 3 nights and booked on gtahotels.com at a very good price. Maybe therefore we were given a very small room with a dirty looking bathroom. Jacussi looked mouldy and we had to complain twice until the smell of urine dissapeared from the wall of the toilet. Bar area very unwelcoming, no comfortable chairs, too harsh lighting, we... more

We just returned from a 5 night visit at the Le Meridien. We were very happy, the view and balcony were very very nice, the room very clean and service perfect. People were very friendly and breakfast buffet was nice. After being at three hotels in Italy at our vacation, this appeared to be more satisfying than the five star... more

Just arrived home from Le Meridien. The hotel is very nice and the staff are friendly and professional. The pool area is tiny, but quiet and relaxing with free towels and great background music. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty. My only real gripe is the price of drinks and food at the bar/pool bar/minibar. I have stayed at some... more

Our family (50 yr old parents, two daughters 17 and 20 yrs old)stayed in two rooms at Le Meridien for two days/one night in late July 2006, as a break from Renaissance art and architecture between Florence and Venice. It was perfect for this purpose. The hotel is modern and funky, designed by Paulo Portoguese in the 1980s to be... more
