Great location, extremely helpful staff, lovely renovated former abbey. We arrived quite late so the hotel's parking lot was full -- no problem, 2 Euros to park for our entire stay at a very nearby lot. Paid the hotel directly which gave us a voucher to display on our dashboard. Good breakfast, all-in-all we were very satisfied and would happily... More

A charming place in a magical town. Delightful old building, with secluded courtyard, whet we had drinks before dinner and breakfast the next morning. Very helpful and friendly staff - overall a great stay for 5 of us on a flying tour of Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Veneto.

This is an elegant hotel with big rooms, big bathrooms, courtyards, elegant living room to read or just relax with international newspapers and magazines. There is an understated bar that serves drinks and great coffees. Highly professional and responsive staff. There is even a small chapel inside the hotel that is tastefully restored. The palazzo is a former orphanage that... More

we stayed for two nights. The welcome was good, the room comfortable and clean, and the breakfasts excellent. They don't do evening meals, but there are plenty of options within five or ten minutes walk. The hotel is also convenient for the town centre and the fabulous frescos, and has the remarkable addition of a private chapel next to breakfast.... More

We enjoyed this hotel very much. Big rooms and bathroom, very nice breakfast, and lovely outdoor terrace. The location was excellent for visiting the churches with in the area and to see the mosaics from the 6th century. I would stay there again! Excellent on-site parking - though a very narrow entrance to the parking lot.

Best breakfast spread we saw in our 2 weeks in Italy for any of the B&Bs. Great location to see all the wonderful churches and museums in Ravenna. Helpful staff and breakfast can accommodate gluten free. If you get there early, they let you check in and they have limited spots of free parking right in the courtyard. Otherwise, plenty... More

Stayed here for two nights in a room with 3 adult ladies traveling together. Room was spacious enough and comfortable, and nice sized bathroom and shower. Hotel staff was friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast buffet was very nice, but no hot foods. Fresh juices. You could order specialty coffees at the beverage bar and they would bring it to your... More

This was a lovely place to stay. A very old, calm place with a sense of serenity. Large, comfortable rooms and a great buffet breakfast. Also free parking in an internal courtyard , although this cannot be reserved. Helpful staff. Also very reasonable rates.

The staff seemed very friendly, as we booked online and asked questions by email. The room was huge and spacious, although we had the usual (for Italy) twin beds. Bathroom small, but modern. Breakfast was awesome and decadent (cakes galore!). Internet worked. They can also set you up with a deal for tickets to 5 of the major sites; helpful... More

We wanted to visit the famous fresco sites in Ravenna. This property is central and it makes visiting the sites within easy walking distance. We drove to Ravenna, and the interior courtyard gives you piece of mind about your car. The hotel has a certain older style to it. There are large interior and exterior public areas. The breakfast is... More
