Nice hotel in an historic palazzo with beautiful painted ceilings. Breakfast was excellent with a huge range of delicious cakes and pastries. Excellent location beside one of the main mosaic churches.

We visited Ravenna for the Mosaic Festival and were looking for a hotel that was central to the exhibitions and sites and had a bit of character. The main hotel ticks all the boxes - but we were staying in their annexe across the road that was not the same quality at all. The room we were in (C) was... More

This hotel is in an excellent central position from which to "do" the mosaic trail, with Sant'Apollinare Nuovo being just across the street (and what a great place to start!) The friend with whom I was travelling made the hotel booking of two double rooms, each for single occupancy. When I checked the hotel out online I thought it looked... More

Dear Angela, thank you for your feedback. Your room had french bed, which is notoriously smaller than a regular double size. We hope you will visit us again in the future, hopefully even in the good season, and discover other type of rooms. Meanwhile we wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Best regards, Galletti Abbiosi Staff More

A beautiful place to stay with great rooms, a wonderful breakfast, and lots of peace and quiet. The price was also very good for our group of three. Good location within Ravenna as well. Only stayed one night but would come back for a longer visit.

We had a quiet suite with a bedroom, loft bed and kitchen across the street from the hotel. Very clean and moder 300€for 3 nights. You can rent bikes and Dante's tomb and Basilica di St.Vitale are close by. We also rode out to Basilica Di St. Apollinaire Nuovo about 6 miles round trip.the mosaics were spectacular! A good breakfast... More

This is an elegant hotel (formerly an Abbey) with uniformed staff. Our room was quite small but met our needs. The only constructive criticism I can offer is that the beds are more like bunk beds and as such are quite hard. Otherwise this is an excellent place to stay. Also the breakfast is very good.

Great location, extremely helpful staff, lovely renovated former abbey. We arrived quite late so the hotel's parking lot was full -- no problem, 2 Euros to park for our entire stay at a very nearby lot. Paid the hotel directly which gave us a voucher to display on our dashboard. Good breakfast, all-in-all we were very satisfied and would happily... More

A charming place in a magical town. Delightful old building, with secluded courtyard, whet we had drinks before dinner and breakfast the next morning. Very helpful and friendly staff - overall a great stay for 5 of us on a flying tour of Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Veneto.

This is an elegant hotel with big rooms, big bathrooms, courtyards, elegant living room to read or just relax with international newspapers and magazines. There is an understated bar that serves drinks and great coffees. Highly professional and responsive staff. There is even a small chapel inside the hotel that is tastefully restored. The palazzo is a former orphanage that... More
