We arrived early to Ravenna early for cheak-in, but were welcomed by 'omar' who was very helpful giving us local maps & restaurant info on where to eat etc... So we trotted off and checked in later on... The rm was fantastic, modern, & clean... It came with a kitchen-come lounge, separate bedroom with veranda, and en-suite bathroom... The following day we... We stayed a couple of nights at the Antica Ravenna on the final part of our trip through Italy and it was a really good experience and although not luxurious, it was one of the best places we stayed in. The quality of the experience was as much down to the two staff who managed the reception as the standard... More

Our hotel in Ravenna was very comfortable and clean and we were upgraded to a suite at no extra cost. The best part of the stay was the very warm welcome we had from a young gentleman who spoke very good English and French. He gave us guidance on what to see in Ravenna, gave us bottled water for the... More

The name is rather misleading, as the hotel is not "antica" (the Italian word for ancient) but rather modern. The rooms are of a good size and comfortable, albeit rather small bathrooms. Staff at reception are exceptionally friendly and all speak very good English, so one doesn't have to try one's poor Italian. The only disadvantage is its location which... More

This was a lovely hotel with apart hotel possibilities. The rooms were clean fresh and spacious with simple kitchen facilities. There was a nice breakfast available and at 5 euro it was a bargain. Close by supermarket and easy access to Ravenna town if you have a car.

Stayed here for two nights en route to other cities. As we were driving chose hotel just outside city. No GPS, using the old brain and map. Found it with little trouble and loved the location. Upon arrival we were offered refreshment before being shown to our super apartment. Omar couldn't have been more helpful and gave us so much... More

Stayed here two nights on a recent trip through Northern Italy. Stayed in a two-room apartment at this hotel, with a kitchen and a full array of cooking and eating utensils. Situated on a busy street, but not too noisy. Chirping birds and flowering fruit trees were lovely. If using a GPS device to try to find this hotel, be... More

We were expecting a roadside motel and were wonderfully surprised. This lovely hotel was so much more than we imagined. Also, the location was very convenient to anything you might want to see in Ravenna. We were offered coffee quickly upon our arrival. The front desk staff was amazing, helpful and sweet as could be. They offered dining suggestions along... More

This family-run, immaculate hotel is conveniently located: the hotel lets its customers use their bicyles for free to get around Ravenna, which is the ideal way to see the city, since much of the center is closed off to car traffic, and the many one-way and car-free streets can be exasperating. Our apartment had air-conitioning that worked, and screens (a... More

This beautifully run, and maintained property is on the south edge of Ravenna. One does need a car. Roads and apartment buildings are near by, but the way the hotel is placed on the property puts its back to that. There are lovely grounds and there is a sense of spaciousness. The units are all redone, I think all balconies... More
