We arrived around 19 pm and the first contact the hotel ITALIA. The women on the reception advised us to drive in two hours and said that may be will be a free room. Called high price for 3-star hotel. We were unpleasantly surprised, at first, the price, and secondly the lack of the usual practice of check-out hotel rooms... More

Close to railway station, walking distance to city historical buildings. Good walking atmosphere, and restaurants around the city. Room and bathroom were cleaned everyday. I would recommend to other travellers. The hotel administration didn't provide double bed, as they confirmed earlier.

I have never experienced anything like it. Ever before. The centre if the bed was higher than both sides. So if I'm not in the centre, I am rolling to the edge of the bed. I am typing this while trying to balance on the ridge running up the middle!! What a night I'm up for!

Unlike Debbie L, I'm glad I hadn't read the Trip advisor reviews before booking a night at the hotel as they would have deterred me from doing so and that would have been a pity as I found the staff friendly and helpful. Although, having lived in Italy for the past ten years, I speak Italian, the staff were eager... More

end of June 2014. The first room the air con did not work so we were moved to a different room. The first room smelled of old cigarettes and looked like it had stepped out of the 1960's so was glad of the move. The second room was better but why did we get put in the dated & smelling... More

Good points: location close to train station, 10 minute walk into town centre. Friendly staff at reception. Clean room, comfortable bed. Bad points: More like a 2 star. But that would have been fine if I hadn't been treated like a criminal at the breakfast (basic) buffet. I only ate some yoghurt and when I went to take an apple... More

Me and my classmates stayed on Hotel Roma for six nights on our annual school trip. We arrived at about 7 pm and from the minute we got there there were tons of problems with our rooms. Me and two friends got a room where the bathroom door was broken and couldn't close, when we told the receptionist she said... More

My friend and I booked this hotel via booking dot com, for its location close to an event we were attending and the very reasonable price (around 45 euros per night). Upon arrival, the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean but my room smelt of old cigarette smoke. The bed was hard and not particularly comfortable... More

The hotel is conveniently situated near the train station. We had booked on a website and had a voucher which was questioned by the receptionist which did not get us off to a good start. Our room was said to be ready but was not and we were ushered to another by a chambermaid. We were unable to ascertain if... More
