Perfect spot for our visit to Parma. The young staff goes out of their way to help, even staying on the phone with me to direct us to the hotel! So lovely to open your shutters and hear the bells ring.....like a dream! Our apartment was beautiful and so very clean. Perfect! We did have to walk up two flights... More

Gentleman; if you want to impress your lady, this is the place This palace is magic, every suite has something special, and you get a feeling of how the novelty must have lived in those days. Every detail is well thought off, it will remind you of a museum only you get to stay for the night. Naturally, with all... More

This is a wonderful Place. The young staff are extremely helpful and accomodating, and you feel like you are being genuinely served, like carrying your luggage up or helping you park your your car in the space(free!). We got one of the "standard" rooms, which had everything we wanted - Cable TV, Fridge, dining table, toaster oven, hot plate, etc.... More

The Palazzo is a grand old house immediately next to the Baptistery, which has been converted into an aparthotel. The staff are helpful and friendly, but reception is not open during hours that you would normally expect of a hotel. I needed to leave early and check-out didn't start until 8am. On the big plus side, the rooms are clean... More

I had apartment #2 which had a side view to the cathedral and Baptistery. It is a real Palazzo that the family still inhabits on the first floor - I was told for over 500 years now. Everything is absolutely authentic but on the other hand equipped with satellite TV that made available all stations that are broadcasted by satellite.... More

We stayed at palazzo dalla rosa prati for one night and it was a very delightful stay! We were upgraded into a junior suite since they had spare room. The suite was really nice ornated with old engravings and decorated in classic italian style. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right next to 3 historical sites to visit. The... More

From the helpfulness of the staff, to the convenience to the rest of the city, to the impeccably furnished rooms there is nothing to compare to this Palazzo. It is the only place I will stay. The wine cellar, the parma ham curing room, the ham, cheese and wine tastings, the delicious breakfast (American style if you prefer) are all... More

I didn't know the history of this Palazzo. What I did know is I thought the small courtyard was quaint and each landing at the top of the steps leading to our room brought a whole new view of the Palazzo which made me enjoy climbing the steps because of the beauty of the building. Our room was wonderful. We... More

The staff were friendly when we arrived and made us welcome. The room was very comfortable and air conditioned. There was a small kitchenette area which was very useful. The fridge enabled us to store our wine and light snacks for when we felt we needed them. (There was a small electric hob but we did not use this). There... More

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2015

We travel as a group of 6 to Italy every June and have visited and stayed in some fabulous places but we all agree that Palatti Della Rosa Prati takes some beating. The location is without doubt the best ever, our rooms looked out onto the piazza Duomo. We would throw open the windows in the morning and breathe in... More
