Nice Hotel, stayed for 5 nights. In a quite place of parma, though Parma is generally quite, but this is bang in front of the huge Parco Ducale (park), great for early mornings. Nice walk to most of the places. Breakfast could be better by a rotating menu.

Verdi Hotel looks good... inside, outside, parking places (to be paid) and WIFI (to be paid). When we entered the passports should stay at the reception until "the girl who administrates would come next day". I insisted to have them back and they were able to make a copy. The good look of Verdi doesn't mean that the rooms are cleaned.... More

We travelled here on business and it was Ok. The hotel was a little dated for our liking. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking outside was great. We struggled to stay connected to the WIFI which was frustrating given we had to pay 3 euros for the service. Breakfast was very basic. Finally, when we left, reception did not... More

I spend one unplanned night here when I was on my way back home and asked at reception if they had a double. Glad they had one! Super atmosphere, nice decorated rooms in a very classy way as if you travel back in time. I don't mean old, but a well appreciated respect for the nice furniture and decoration which... More

Its a nice little hotel sitting near the Parco Ducale in Parma, and a walking distance from the medioeval downtown. Rooms neat but may be in need of some refreshing. Staff friendly and ready to help. Buffet breakfast could have a bit more of variety but all in all, a good option to stopover and walk the historical Parma

Booked 2 adjoining rooms for a family stopover on way back to Milan from Tuscany - pleasant little hotel in good location just the park across from the town centre. Staff all very helpful and rooms small and basic but clean and comfortable. I'd agree with other reviews that this isn't a 4* hotel - 3 at best, and is... More

Just stayed one night, the Verdi is in a good location secure parking and very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable but certainly need some refurbishing. This is not a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was included and was very ordinary, ham just left in the packets and fruit juice watery or very sweet. With all the great bread... More

Staying in this hotel was a weird experience. When we arrived we saw a nice classical villa next to a nice park and we were received by a very friendly and welcoming lady. However after staying there for three nights, the conclusion is a bit different. The hotel is supposed to be a four star and hotel and is priced... More

A gem of a hotel if you like something a little different - it would make a lovely set for an Edwardian play- the decor in the lobby and reception rooms is pure art deco - but the rooms are up to date with all the usual amenities. The hotel is just across the road from the park which we... More

We stayed at the Hotel Verdi on 10th April 2012. The Staff at the hotel were outstanding; All four girls we met were very friendly and so helpful. All spoke perfect English, which is rare in Italy. The hotel itself is not bling or new. It is old worlde style. The walls have been made to look stained and stress... More
