This lovely little hotel was not too far to walk from the station and tucked away down a little lane not far from the central park area. Our lovely little room overlooked the back garden area, which was also accessible from the main lobby. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The hotel was within close walking distance to restaurants,... more

Bang in the centre of town, Hotel Torino is a small, clean hotel just off the main street in the centre of Parma. We walked from the station in 20 mins but if you have heavy luggage I recommend a taxi. The price was mid-range, but our standard double room was very compact - just enough room to walk around... more

This small hotel is ideally located in the old city, and an excellent choice for the money. The room was was a good size, and the bathroom clean and modern with the usual clever Italian design touches. Staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was decent. The old city of Parma was charming. Although we had been warned that things... more

This was the only hotel we didn't like on our 12-day trip to Italy. First, we had booked the garage in advance only to get there and be told it was not available. We were sent to a public garage some distance away which required walking thru a public area in the dark. We did not feel safe and we... more

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The location is great--right in the center of the historic area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel has parking, which is convenient. Our room, however, was nothing special--just OK. It was very clean, but the furnishings and especially the bathroom need renovation. The shower was unlike any other I've seen: very... more

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very clean and tidy hotel in an excellent location in the middle of the shopping district. 10min walk from train station (without luggage, 15 to 20 mins walk with luggage). Nice reception and breakfast area. Breakfast was a simple continental affair with pastries, toast, yoghurt, small selection of cereals and an even smaller selection of... more

We stayed here for an 3 nights -- and our anniversary. We were a bit disappointed when we first arrived, as the lobby seems a bit worn. It's a small hotel that is quite comfortable and perfectly located-- but nothing special. Older Holiday Inn quality. The staff was always very helpful. Any time we had questions or needs, they were... more

This is a very well situated hotel. It is centrally located and you can walk to all the museums etc. It has a lovely inner courtyard where we picnicked. The room was small but worked just fine for two people. The breakfast offerings were weak. more

While on a recent trip to Parma, there was a mix up on my hotel reservations so made friends found an alternate, Hotel Torino, which turned out to be delightful. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very cordial and accomodating. The location was perfect for me, right in the middle of town, across from the Teatro... more
