Stayed 12-14Nov09 because it was only 100 yds from the train station and our Costco phone card didn't work and we couldn't call hotels more centrally located. The walk-in rate was a non-negotiable €98/nite - went to the internet shop 2 doors away, booked at the internet rate and saved over $100 for our 3 nite stay. By Italy stds... more

Friendly staff Good breakfast: lot of choice at the buffet, only one type, bad tasting coffee in a 'coffee minded Italy' Quite big, still (nearly no neighbour noise) rooms with a minibar and TV. Rooms are dark during the day and lighting is poor. Internetservice is expensive but reliable. Out of the center, near a big road, but no noise... more

I stayed there for 4 nights. No complaints really apart from the general communication or lack of knowledge of the train strike that took place for a whole day. The location of this hotel is very good as it's only 5mins away from Parma station & 15mins from the main center. It was annoying to my mother & i as... more

Our stay at your hotel in Parma was most enjoyable. Your staff was most helpful and friendly. We found the room very clean and nice. The closeness to the railroad station is a major plus. more

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station (train noise was was not a big problem) and because the Verdi festival was in town and rooms were scarce. Front desk was helpful with our questions. First 30 minutes on internet are free. Breakfast was OK. If I were staying longer and travelling by car I would look... more

Of course, the hotel is confortable, well located for tourism or travel by train, but the best is the friendly welcome you receive from the staff after some stays. You must also be prepared to be the guests of Luciana and Pasquale in the very close restaurant "San Barnaba". Astoria plus San Barnaba : the way to transform a business... more

Hotels in Parma were hard to locate, so we were glad to find this one. It was basic and clean, but nothing to write home about. This time we were it Italy for 3 weeks, 8 hotels and this was the least inspired. more

We stayed at this hotel for one night while we visited Parma and enjoyed the Ham Festival. It was a very nice hotel, quiet, rooms were spacious, clean and in excellent condition. Buffet breakfast served was very good. Hotel is literally 5 minutes from the train station but only a few minute walk to the major sites. Unfortunately, we visited... more
