The room was very correct and served our family well but I mostly want to write about the food at the hotel restaurant. It was late and we didn't want to drag the children around Parma to find something to eat and so we went to the hotel restaurant. A week later we are still dreaming and talking about the... More

We stayed here as part of a Globus group. Parma is a great city. If you can't stay right in town, this hotel is a good alternate. It is walkable (20+ minutes long walk) to the train station and town. A lobby bar is very nice and convenient. The cookies you get with your espresso are very tasty. The breakfast... More

We reserved for 3 nights but missed one because of weather - was worried when we were "no show" they'd cancel everything, but they didn't and a staff member even called me to assure me all was well. Had we been able to stay the full 3 nights they would have credited my 1st night (charged to my card) but... More

Rude unhelpful staff, no tea/coffee facilities in the room, Irons not allowed in rooms. Over pretentious hotel trying to be something when actually a Premier Inn is more comfortable. The food is poor quality and expensive, Which is very similar to the drinks so at least they maintain a standard (poor). I have never been charged 2 euros for water... More

Very nice large rooms and very clean. The walk through the garden was lovely to the main attractions over the bridge. The hotel is a little out of the way from the main shops but it is a beautiful grand lady who still holds her own. Great value.

Very centrally located old world hotel in Parma. They have been able to maintain most of old world style with reasonable amount of new world amenities. Breakfast is reasonably good. Service is good as well.

This hotel is simply a bed for the night - nothing else. Food is very poor, minimal room facilities - no irons, no tea/coffee making, no complimentary water. Fortunately there is a supermarket across the road. Front desk staff are rude and unhelpful. I was left to carry two large suitcases to my room when the refused to assist -... More

The rooms are small but functional. I didn't like that my room was made up as two single beds instead of 1 king. The breakfast is good. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. The gym could use another treadmill, but it has a large selection of weights and a LOT of space. There's no AC, but the windows open.

Stayed here for two nights on our way to Lucca, The hotel was good, right opposite there is a supermarket and behind the hotel a nice park for morning runs. Close to the city and can actually walk. Breakfast was good but our room was not the best but overall they are good.

We recently stayed for two nights @ Starhotels Du Parc, Parma. The hotel itself is a old grand hotel that has been beautifully kept up, we were in an executive room, which had fabric wall coverings and classic features that were both modernized and kept to the original theme. Internet was a good connection and speed, not fast or slow,... More
